Can you guys confirm my list here is accurate and if I'm missing or forgetting anything that is coming. And in regards to the rumored films, does anyone have any info on the reboots?

Confirmed :

- Wolverine
- Iron Man 2
- Thor
- Captain America
- The Avengers
- Spiderman 4

Rumored :

- Magneto Origin
- DareDevil Reboot
- Fantastic Four Reboot
- Spiderman 5
- Deadpool (Possible according to Reynolds)

Did I forget anything? I heard they signed Sam Jackson for 9 films? Does anyone know if Magneto got axed? (I hope it did.) And any info on Fantastic Four in particular, I hated the tone of the FF flicks and hope they go much darker. They need to redo Dr. Doom and put Mole Man to use.

:horror I'm hoping Magneto stays. His story just as much potential (if not more) than many on that list, which is why I'm looking forward to an origins film based on him.

And I agree with you on FF4 movies. They were okay, in my opinion, but I don't know if I'm ready for a reboot any time soon.

If you Check the March Issue of Total Film Magazing....There are 70 Comic Book Films In The Works............:naughty

:horror 70? I was stretching to think of the 9 Sam Jackson could end up in...

That's 70 comicbook movies in development-- that's not just Marvel properties. That's including obscure graphic novels to titles like Tin Tin (which means pretty much zilch to a US audience--for now).

:horror hoping Magneto got AXED? That is actually one of the ones I am really excited for! My favorite part of the first X-men movie was the WWII concentration camp scene introducing Magneto! Apparently you havent read "X-Men: Magneto Testament" either....definately could be one of the coolest movies ever!

i dont think magneto will get done...maybe if Wolverine is good and does well at the theater. ummm... Iron Man 2 was a definite before the first one hit the theater. don't know about Thor or Cap' but i hope they don't reboot F4...the first two are still fresh in my mind and i don't want flashbacks to be triggered as a result of a new one being announced.

DONT FORGET ABOUT ANTMAN!!!! :lol Is that one still a go?? havent herd anything about it in ages.

I'm aware of Magneto's good stories, and how cool a character he is, but I dont think the movie is going to turn out well TBH. I defiantely dont like the idea of Ian playing Eric and a new guy playing Charles Xavier rather then Patrick Stewart who said he was done with the character.

I really want a Fantastic Four reboot, I can't stand the Tim Story ones so I'll be happy to forget them. I want Doom in Latveria with Doom Bots and Mole Man.

A DareDevil VS Punisher would be really cool if they start doing crossovers. Put Kingpin and Crossbones in the movie, a quick origin story for Matt in his yellow duds, maybe in the flashback/origin have him fight Bullseye briefly and in a scene with Elektra. Maybe have a Vietnam flashback/origin for Frank. It could be really cool if they put the time into it.

True...im sure they would butcher the Magneto story. If they wanted to make a cool movie, they should have Magneto as a kid in the concentration camp and how he survived.

Tintin not Tin Tin.

NEWS... and Cool logos:

But Will Smith as Captain America??? Please, God... NO! That can't happen.

The First Avenger: Captain America: The film officially goes into preproduction in October 2009, with production scheduled to begin on June 28th 2010. The movie will probably feature more international locations and actors than any other Marvel movie. In casting the Captain, Feige says that “international appeal” is something that Marvel will have to take into account, but admits that “there are only a handful of stars that mean anything here much less overseas.” Later when someone brought up Will Smith, Feige responded, “I think Will Smith is probably one of those handful of international stars.” Also, the rumored “Truth” storyline from the comics isn’t likely to be incorporated into The First Avenger movie, but possibly in future sequels. Will Smith as Captain America? I really hope not.

The Avengers: Screenwriter Zak Penn won’t start writing his outline for the film until next week, but Feige would like to see The Hulk as part of the team. Feige says that The Avengers “is about saving the world” and the film will have “a different tone than the other Marvel movies,” “the scope and the scale will feel like a much bigger thing,” “a much more massive global feel to it.” The threat will “be big,” “something that no single hero can handle.” The budget will probably be bigger as well. I personally think it would be stupid not to feature the Incredible Hulk in the Avengers movie, its just a question of making it work with the prior film(s) and Edward Norton.

Here is the thing

If they make Captain America black from the get go, then the Truth storyline would make no sense

Set in the Marvel Universe, the series takes the Tuskegee Experiments as inspiration for a tale that re-examines the history of the super-serum that created Captain America. Beginning in 1942, the series follows a regiment of black soldiers who are forced to act as test subjects in a program attempting to re-create the lost formula earlier used to turn Steve Rogers to Captain America. The experiments lead to mutation and death, until only one remains - Isaiah Bradley.

If the final Captain America is black then the Tuskegee Experiments angle would be lost. I don't see Marvel being shortsighted enough to make Captain America black but I do see them double dipping into the licensing and actually making a Truth movie just so they can feature Will Smith.

There is going to be some more info on all of these films (especially IRON MAN 2) any time now at CHUD, IESB, Collider, etc. They all had an IRON MAN 2 set visit on Wednesday and also met with Kevin Feige. As soon as the embargo lifts, more info will spill out.

Can't wait to see the special footage at SDCC! :rock
