I hope you're not getting it simply because it MAY go up in price. With this economy, you just can't count on that. Get it because you really like it and want it.

No actually I really want it. But for me the EX is the one to get.

The sculpt for the berserker is AMAZING and I think everyone who gets it will love it in their collection.

But I think the EX is outstanding! And honestly I would not want to get this piece without it.

I would just look at him holding those arrows and I would say to myself,...."That's cool...,but MAN he needs to be holding a severed Head!" LOL

What I DON"T want is to cancel it. And then decide a few months from now that I regret doing that, only now the EX costs $100-$200 more!

I'm not collecting for future profit, I'm collecting because I love these damn collectibles just like you guys

i second that, even if your not a lotr fan, or for that matter a fan of other lines, sometimes you just have to appreciate the artwork and detail that goes into pieces from other lines that may not interest you.
i've got several pieces in my collection that don't follow my main lines of interest (marvel first, lotr second) that have no biz been there, but i liked them for some reason or another and got them.
one of them been the General Grevious PF ex. version. i mean you have to be dead form the neck up not to appreciate the greatness of that piece imo. others including the Lara Croft PF, soon to be coming Hellboy II PF and a few others.

in the end like i always say, if you like it get it and when you do get it your not happy with it, then sell it and get your money back out of it. give or take a couple of $$$

Yeah man, my main two are Marvel, and Pop Culture shock Street Fighter

But under miscellaneous I will have Berserker EX, Lara Croft Pf, Indy Pf

Maybe: Patient Zero,Celtic Bio, Blackbeard, 1:1 Predalien bust

I agree,...I'm only collecting 2 lines, but there will always be pieces outside those 2 lines that will be too good to pass up. Hence my miscellaneous collection.

So far the only line I'm collecting is the LOTR line
But if pieces such as Indy or Leonidas come along I will pick them up
I prefer centerpieces from film such as those characters

I third that, this is one piece that you would want the ex. even if you don't display it with the head. this piece might have the same value or bang for your buck like the lurtz years down the road.
