I'd be very surprised if we don't see a Cody out of this line. I really want both him and Gree (and certainly wouldn't turn my nose up at a Bly, either).

I wonder if we'll get an Airborne trooper?

I think we'll see all the variants of clones you could possibly want from this line. Only chicken-little's think otherwise. :emperor

They could probably sell a lot more if the price point were a bit lower. Same armor, same body, same body suit and they are going to be the same price as Obi Wan who has different clothes and an actual headsculpt.
The cost of producing these figures is going to be absorbed over a much larger number.

Maybe the Clones will come with a Headsculpt too...

Not this one atleast. I think they would have shown it. It would be part of the incentive to buy it.

How long was it before they showed the extra head or Ventress after the announcement? If I remember correctly, it was AT the PPO, right? I think the head would be a good idea. Scars and hair color aside, they'll all look pretty much the same. Providing a plain Morrison head with every clone, that us freaks can customize with scars, hair color, etc, would be devine. :drool It'd be easy too. Hasbro already has the best mold of Morrison out there so it'd just be a matter of loaning it to Sideshow.

My guess is LFL probably would only approve Morrison portraits for Cody and Rex as they're the only primary clones we see unmasked, I don't imagine them giving a green light to just use a portrait over and over for clones or Medicom would probably have recycled their Jango head for some of their clones.

hmmm... isn't that what they did for the Clone Trooper's helmets?

I hope with Cody its just an extra head. I don't want to do the old slip the helm over thing.

Agreed, plus now that SSC figures have the easy to remove, HT-Style neck post, swappable heads would be really easy to pull off. Medicom did the removable helmet with their Jango but it didn't quite work, the helmet was made right for Boba with a blank, featureless face and when they tried to cram it on a Jango face, it didn't fit perfectly and didn't look as nice on him as Boba looked.

That's because of the friggin' schnauzer beak they sculpted on Morrison's face. :rotfl It was so big the helmet only fits right when you cram it down and then that face potato blisters the helmet right in the middle of the visor! That's why I think Hasbro's Jango is a better sculpt and a more accurate likeness of Morrison.

Hasbro's is far superior. I own this figure as well...It was one of Hasbro's best.

I really like the shading Barry

thanks andy..........didnt want to completely derail this thread (as if this would anyway....:lol) so i posted this in the customs forum as well to get some critiques. personally i like him but cant seem to get the silver or gray flecks in the hair like i would like them to be.

Well LFL did approve it for the hasbro 3 3/4 " line. Even the OT Stormtroopers have Jango heads under the helmet now.
