Who cares if someone is whining like a little princess? Thats what always gets me is people taking the criticism of a toy as if someone was criticising their child.

We all saw it when someone finally posted pics of the actual Utapau Clone trooper. That should have been the end of it. Yes, the helmet has inaccuracies. WE GET IT. Hell, even Sideshow GOT IT! A Sideshow rep even posted that all the bashing should be stopped as at this point it's just bashing the sculptor. Don't remember what page it's on, but I promise, it's here. We've also come to two conclusions. It will or won't be fixed with this figure. So, with that understood, can we move on to something other than the helmet errors? Please?! :huh

In the same regard though should someone get so riled by a toy they need to whine that bad? Just a thought. I've really come to learn there are just way to many folks out there that feel someone is raping their childhood when it comes to this stuff. That's one of the reasons I've cut back posting in the SW section and as a whole its just way to much drama for me.

If its still on people's minds, I don't see the point in not talking about it? Isn't that what the forum is for? If individual posters or posts are too mean spirited or crude or insulting then it should be dealt with at that level, but IMO if discussion about it is still in demand, let it be discussed. I don't see the harm. :huh

But thats their perogative. Basically you guys are telling people what is and isn't worth posting about.

IMO that goes beyond the slight annoyance I might feel by reading something I disagree with.

I just think people should have a right to post what they want (as long as it doesn't break the forum rules).

If others want to contradict the opinions, thats great too. But when people move beyond contradicting the opinions and start contradicting someone's "right" (for lack of better word) to post the opinion, I have a problem with it.

It is. Its also someones prerogative to tell them to shut the hell up too for that matter. I'm not telling anyone what to post or not post that's always been something people have gotten way wrong with me personally. I don't get why people feel like if a toy (mostly whiney SW fans) is just a touch off its their childhood being raped. Seems to be a bit of an overreach to me anyways. Thats why I've pretty much tuned out the SW section because most fans are just whiney or too whiney for me. You can't ever talk about them without a decent portion turning into well its horrible because its .00000000001cm off. Its not worth the discussion honestly.

While this may or may not be in the rules, the spirit of a toy forum is to talk about toys. A toy whiner is on topic. Someone who whines about a toy whiner is not. :lol

People should so people telling someone to shut the hell up and stop whining is just as equal as long as its within the rules. Yet, those people tend to be the ones that get told how horrible they are. ^^^^^ing, Moaning, Groaning, Whining, etc are all ok but saying jeez can we actually just discuss things is usually looked down upon. It is what it is though.

Nobody is contradicting anyone's right. I think sometimes someone posting ok we get it. Can we just talk about what we do like is looked at as that and IMO it isn't. Thats why honestly like I said I've cut back on posting or checking out anything other than The Dead threads or Video Game section.

I will say that I too have cut back on posting and reading certain things, but its not because people are being too critical of the product. If anything the people who are too critical of other collectors right to be critical is more of a deterent.

If people would just let someone say their opinion and let it roll off them without fighting them on it then this place would be a lot better. Telling people not to post their criticism is not the solution to making this a happier place. Learning to accept that someone has an opinion and not crucify them for it is the solution.

Double standard. :lol And it's not "telling people not to post their criticisms" but moreso, "Dude, we got it the first 10 friggin times you posted it!"

At that point you just need to ignore the 11th time. It takes 2 seconds to read a post and realize its not saying what you want to hear. Just skip to the next post. :lol

I'd like to get this thread back on topic. The whining has got to end, folks.

Now, with that being said, is anyone else noticing something off with the helmet? I can't help it but it seems to me that there is something off with the bottom part. Anyone else noticing this?

Anyway, the Utapau and the Sandtrooper are the only 2 troops I currently have on order. I'm not into Force Unleashed and I am actually pretty happy with my Hasbro VOTC regular Stormtroopers.

While I am cutting back on PT figures because of rise in prices, I am betting that a Cody will eventually be released, so I want this Utapau clone!

I probably wouldn't preorder any more ROTS (or any AOTC) clones unless they are commanders like Cody or Gree.

PS -See how boring nonargumentative posts are.....lol.
