I will say that I too have cut back on posting and reading certain things, but its not because people are being too critical of the product. If anything the people who are too critical of other collectors right to be critical is more of a deterent.

If people would just let someone say their opinion and let it roll off them without fighting them on it then this place would be a lot better. Telling people not to post their criticism is not the solution to making this a happier place. Learning to accept that someone has an opinion and not crucify them for it is the solution.

I honestly think people being critical of someone who's being critical happens far less than the other. IMO Far less than its made out to be happening anyways.

I agree there's no point fighting it and with IMO most SW fans there's no point talking about it. Talking SW is like talking politics or religion.

I will say people on the side that like to complain about pretty much everything need to learn though to accept there are some that just happy with getting a very nice product. Everyone always says let the complainers complain but rarely say let those that are happy be happy. I can't begin to count how much ^^^^ I've gotten in that regard.

Double standard. And it's not "telling people not to post their criticisms" but moreso, "Dude, we got it the first 10 friggin times you posted it!"

I have to agree.

At that point you just need to ignore the 11th time. It takes 2 seconds to read a post and realize its not saying what you want to hear. Just skip to the next post.

Unless someone has customizing skills, photo taking talent, photoshop skills, or fresh off the press news, does anyone really want to hear positive info repeated over and over? There is only so many posts to say "yeah, I like it", "can't wait", "I'm a clone fan", "love his markings" etc. BORING.

This guy and Cody are the only clones I want (Unless they make a Rex to go with CW Anakin with mid length hair).

I understand people being upset that this guy costs nearly $100 and they want him just right. That being said if someone comes to my house and points out what is off about my clone toy, I get the satisfaction of saying "Wow. You're more of a geek than the geek who bought the $100 clone."

I think it'd be a fun little experiment for them to cancel a preordered SW Ex of one of the biggest whiners with a comment like, "Judging by your comments in the freaks forum we canceled your preorder of the exclusive figure as we felt the exclusive was best with someone who will actually appreciate the product."
