Mainly because the clones in the movies had a 'striped' or 'ribbed' body suit. The Stormtroopers did not.

The armor and weathering look good. The pleather suit does cheapen it a bit.
I agree. He looks quite good. I have the regular coming from BBTS so I hope the wait isn't too long from them to get this.
Yeah, mine is on order with CornerStorecomics (yikes!) and they usually have them out almost right away
As for the above pic, the pic is taken under very bright lights - in natural lighting, I doubt the pinstripe look will be nearly as obvious.

I had to wait a bit for SE that I got from them so I may have to but I have no worries that I'll get it. I just hate waiting.

That looks awesome, bring on the clones! I got two on the way to go with my extra ROTS Obi.
I too strongly feel the same. Clone Obi's jumpsuit seems to be made of a leather-like material, which I fear might crack in time.

The nylon jumpsuit on the Stormtrooper definitely offers more freedom in articulation because of its elastic properties.
