I think that if they were smart they would recognize that the economy stinks at the moment and that they can keep open ended uses of the molds and keep the prices down. The only difference is the paint apps which means about 75,000 figures which should absorb the production costs nicely.
Of course, they won't and they will still sell them for $90 each.

Yeah I'd like to see the clones spaced out a bit and companioned with other figures, say Gree announced with Yoda, Cody next would be awesome. I personally don't like the bag of skittles look when all the clones are together so some other appropriate figures would be great! But SS bring on the BArc & biker scout!

I think there are. For a brief moment in the opening scene, you can spot some operating cannons on a battleship.

What looks off is this:

It's too rounded and open. Almost looks upside down. As in the bottom and sides around the opening more out and the top is in. The sides of the 'jaw' also look a bit more recessed.

It's not horrible, but it's odd how it's like that. The helmets are not too much different from a stormtrooper's in that area. Though a bit angular.

You know what would be downright awesome ? Get the Hasbro speederbike moulds and do a run of speederbikes to go with the biker scouts. They can also reuse them cos if you look closely in ROTS - the jedi are riding EXACTLY the same speederbike as the biker scouts in ROTJ, only with the white and maroon colour scheme.

I'm surprised not much is being said for the weathering on him. I'm a bit surprised to see such a weathered trooper, I figured for sure they'd end up like Medicom's and looking fresh off the Geonosian conveyer belt, good job Sideshow.

I like the weathering. It doesn't look intentional, true to how it appeared in the movies.

Ah, you're probably right, but I'll remain hopeful.
Not to derail, but if Cody is on deck soon, I really hope they treat the head portrait situation similar to how Leia/Boussh was. A helmet-free sculpt (scars and all!) and a post to transfer the hollow (properly scaled) helmet onto.
I really want my on-shelve display pose with him to be helmet-under-right-arm, left arm reaching out with Kenobi's saber hilt..."I think you'll be needing this!"

Have any of you eagle-eyed observers paying attention to the Prometheus body's progress noticed weather the neck-to-body area will allow that?

Back to this guy...I can't wait to have this one displayed with ROTS Kenobi...

I'd like to see an optional Jango head included with all the clones, definitely the Commanders if nothing else.

That is correct. Even when you see Cody helmetless, Morrison wasn't in armor, that was CGI.

There is a balance though, Vader, Stormtrooper and Clone Obi-Wan are more than enough to wet the appetite for armor and make room for non-armor like Lando and Tarkin, etc. Balance is huge and that's the one thing this line seems to suffer, things seem to tilt heavily towards one specific thing. I'm surprised, I haven't seen anyone point out or enjoy the fact that outside of Clone Obi-Wan, this is the first non-ANH figure announcement in like a year. No balance, all we got was ANH figures for a whole year's worth of releases.

Now we're almost skewing towards an oversaturation of armored pieces. With the SW world, there's plenty of room for diversity.

The next 2-3 figure announcements ought to be core, non-armored characters.
