As is often the case on a custom, the last little details seemed to take forever to finish. In this case, the proper gloves took a while, but here they are...

Using Hasbro Imperial Officer hands as a base, Vader can now bend his wrist and fingers...

And grip his saber...

This allows for even more dramatic poses...

Also tweaked the mask a bit.
Funny, when a long term project like this finally wraps, one is a little sad; it's been an ongoing thing, and now it's finally over(for now). Now if I can just get my hands on a lathe to work on that blade...PS

This and Hurricane's Vader customs are easily the best I've ever seen.

Very nice Vader indeed. I agree that should tide you over till the offical SS release as that will probably be a few years. What parts did you use for the mask and suit?

That is an excellent Vader! Too bad you didn't make more of these! But yes, definitely neat! I am just happy that I am getting a Medicom ROTJ Vader!

Okay, the components;
Body: Hasbro Electronic Vader, heavily re-worked(twist waist, opened knees, opened shoulders,re-built forearms, replaced neck post with ball connector)
Head:Re-sculpted Hasbro head
Body suit: Custom sewn by my wife using fabric from 2 'Ultimate Villian' suits
Boots: Custom armor over after-market vinyl boots
Cod piece: Custom, leather over craft foam with cast resin center detail
Belt: Modified Hasbro
Chest box: Custom built, styrene
Armor: Kaiyodo(yes,I cut up a Kaiyodo kit! Sue me!)
Gloves:Custom leather and UV fabric gauntlets over modified Hasbro hands
Cape and Robe: Custom sewn by my wife
Mask and neck brace: Custom sculpt, cast in resin(I have molds!)
