Valentine Contest Ode Winners.

Finally some updates! Now the bad news is the Frankenstein SSE Bust is sold out I guess I can only hope they chose mine in time and kept one back for me. I'll take anything at this point Dusty!

Back to no updates.

Aparently I am not the only one with the Odes. My item was in stock WHEN I posted my Ode (and actually up until Yesterday!) but now is Out of Stock. I saw a few comments in the exact same situation.

So Dusty, or any SS VIPS, can we get an answer how this will effect our chances? Did you guys save one or two of these items for us? Do we get a second choice because they WERE in stock at the time of the ode/due date? Any info regarding this "unique" situation would be helpful.

Congrats to the winners so far! What a great contest.....sadly I fogot about it until it was too late to post my ode.

Only info I can really offer is that the judges (aka sideshow staff members) are picking their top personal favorite entries. Not everyone will get picked, as with any contest. The note about entries we WANTED to pick, but didn't have the stock was meant mostly for the people who asked for Witch King Crowns, Princess Leia Premium Formats, Anakin Premium Formats (which aren't even here yet!), etc.

(and give us a bit of a break on the time for posting... we have until Thursday, after all in fact, here I am at 10:45 PM sifting through emails, tallying votes!)

It sounds to me like it was meant more for those who asked for items long out of stock...for instance, a Patient Zero.

Since I don't want you to lose sleep over it, I'll say this: IF yours (or anyone else's whose chosen item is no longer available but WAS during the contest dates) turns up among the top votes, I'm sure I could finagle *something* out of the contest prize-keepers to give if the item is truly no longer available

Thanks. My constant watching and whining about the list paid off

I really did want one of those Vampyre hats from Spooktacular too. A bit sad that I didn't get Franky or even the Vampyre bust as a fill-in, but I'm just glad I won at all!

As a thank-you for still being awarded a prize even though Franky sold out Sunday monkey2 ) I wrote a quick Ode from my prize:
