Valentine Contest Ode Winners.

As a thank-you for still being awarded a prize even though Franky sold out Sunday monkey2 ) I wrote a quick Ode from my prize:

Oh Vampyre hat, oh Vampyre hat
You are so tall, pointy, and fat
You look like you should belong to a chef
And not somebody who looks far from deaf
You saw only a limited release
And had a owner looking for a lease
You covered the head of Nosferatu
and rock like the band U2
I am pleased to place you on my head
But wish you came with your owner instead.

Congrats on the hat! Now if we can just find one for Occ and the Monster... did I miss anyone?...

...and wait till you actually try to "pose" it... it's almost like a puzzle on how it goes on the head without looking like a big bag!!!

I love that the Darkness PF was featured in the Sideshow radio broadcast this week. It was great hearing about the 3 year creation of such a beautiful piece.

Yeah, I wish they would put low quantity alerts on second chance items. If I had know only 1 was left, I would have chosen the Nosferatu bust or something else that wouldn't probably sell out before they announced the winners (OR if I had just been announced on the first day).

I know... it killed me to have to cancel it when it began shipping and I've been worried the Second Chance would sell out before I could scrape together the funds to get it. And then on top of that the SSE version came quicker than I expected, both order wise and shipping, so the outlook for the color was looking bleak for a while there. I still can't believe it...

Look at it this way, the hat is a lot rarer than the bust and you couldn't just buy it! A very unique Sideshow/Monster collectible!!!
