And finally, this may sound like heresy to some but I really don't think all that much of the Sideshow Weta stuff. Sideshow has demonstrated conclusively that they can turn out better likenesses, better details, better accessoreis, and just plain BETTER PRODUCT than the Weta series.

As you would expect them to, as that is what their business is. It is not Weta's. The collectibles side of it is, as they have admitted, just an extra they like to do. They don't compete with companys such as Sideshow, they just offer us a taste of their talent, and I think that's great. Frodo statue...I've never thought of it as a bad likeness. It's a great little statue. But it IS far better than that PF rubbish they churned out.

Yes, and not to mention that all those figures are the Toybiz figures. Maquettes my foot! Assuming that you pay $7 for each of the figures and $20 for the nazgul, then you're paying $100 for the diorama. Note that $7 each is a MIB price, not loose like the way this seller has it.

Alright, so the custom diorama thingy may not look all that great, but I chalk it up to a neat idea with poor execution, or someone who is developing some modeling skills. That being said, I wouldn't try to sell the thing on ebay for $200.00, even as optimistic and positive I try to be!

Heh, Neil, I'm always nice :monkey3

Seaward; the idea is good, but how it's done - nah....

I totally agree, I loved the idea, but Gah! Look at that, and to try and take somebody elses hard earned money for it too!
