I'm sure you'll see for yourself when your bust arrives, but I wouldn't be too eager to repaint the mouth area.
The mouth isn't as light as depicted in MagnumOpus' pictures; it's just the camera flash washing out the saturation of the paint and the subtleties of the paint in general.

The pics I posted on page 84 are done without a flash so the paint is more accurately represented.

Hopfully the color looks better in person. But the biggest reason I'm doing it is to add alot more gloss to both his eyes and mouth. I'm also going to add some dripping saliva from his tounge.

The paint is fine I think you adding the wet look to the eyes and saliva to the tongue will make the bust even better. Those two modifications your going to do is what SSC missed on this bust. Plz post pics once u customize this bust.

Ugh, the more I see this the more I hate it exists. I will admit the first couple of times I was marginally impressed but now its setting in that there won't be a proper Bagley Venom for a long time if ever.

I was initially turned off by this version but I think it's really growing on me with the in-hand pics

I agree the first one is the best capture of venom but this new bust is still awesome and just another variation. The first venom bust is small compared to the new bust. Both are great IMO its just a matter of taste
