I agree the first one is the best capture of venom but this new bust is still awesome and just another variation. The first venom bust is small compared to the new bust. Both are great IMO its just a matter of taste

I admire their attempt with this one, and I'll be the first to admit I'll do a double-take at times when I see V2. Overall, I'm thankful that SSC didn't try to duplicate the first bust and gave V2 it's own 'spin.'

I know it sounds weird, but the 'saliva-like' look on his tongue and the dripping effect is so well done on the first version. It's those kinds of detail I miss.

I agree. The detailing on this bust is amazing. I wish Sideshow still put forth this type of effort in their products.

That's one point that I think is worth mentioning AGAINST the V1. The V1 is smaller in height compared to the Spidey bust. Not a big deal, but if I had to nit-pick, that's one of the downsides.

I agree with you!

Just something about the oddly shaped head on the V2 that has kept me away for wanting it purchase this bust. So, I guess I'm still in the market for a V1 to have in my collection one of these days.
