Yep, the TV show was live action and basically sections of vehicles or exhaust would be this odd orange or red color. One color you could shoot and get points, the other color would take points away... loose enough points and the cockpit ejected you. Then there were also VHS mission tapes, I think there were 3 of them.

I had one of the VHS tapes, which was an animated POV flight mission. Actually pretty well done if I remember and it was pretty fun to watch and play along.

I did this, it was epic, you are welcome. :1-1:

Not sure about the 3D aspect of Captian Power... there were parts of the TV show that were reactive to the toys, but nothing 3D I remember.

Awesome Secret Wars, I have the US figures... hoping to get the European ones someday.

It was a long time ago for me, all I could remember is it was some kind of TV special effect.

As promised, here's a quick tease of some of my purchases over the last couple months.

Sorry for the crappy iPhone picture. You don't realize how bad it is until you see it on a computer. :banghead

:thud: Those Grape Nuts are EPIC!!!! :rock

Kidding... very, very nice haul!:clap I was very tempted to pick up a speeder bike that Vintage City added today... Looked minty w/ Scout for $20. That A Wing and Skiff are particularly awesome!

Thanks, man! Now I need to figure out how to display all this stuff. :lol

$20 is a great price as most of the speeder bikes on eBay are priced higher.

I hope your son feels better soon. :duff

I remember Captain Power. I only had some of the loose figures, but a friend of mine had the jet with the trigger attached to it. That show came on Sunday mornings. Sunday mornings had lots of weird shows in that period of time that I remember--Jerry O'Connell as a super-powered teen, some cartoon with frogs or something (?), live action Superboy, some show about an alien pre-teen girl, other crap like that. Seems like there was a block of crappy cartoons that had the frogs (I wanna say skateboarding frogs) and other stuff. . .

I just remembered:

I guess this was the block of cartoons, though I don't remember any of the others specifically :lol

I bought all the Captain Power figures and tried that weird 3-D thing you were suppose to be able to do over the TV, but it never worked. I ran across them the other day and will try to pull them out later.

Right now all I have is this Marvel Secret Wars set with the Europe exclusives.

I loved the Secret Wars line as a kid... These and Super Powers would definitely be two lines I'd like to get into.

Sent using two cans and some string.

I remember when the Secret Wars figures got clearanced out at "Children's Palace" (a Toys R Us competitior). They were something like $1 each, though all they had left at that point were Magneto, Doom, and Doc Ock. The peg warmers of the 80s.

And one of my more memorable Christmas presents under the tree was Super Powers Clark Kent.

Got the Super Powers too, but it'll be next week before I can take new picture of them and Capt. Power figures. I never did get the Justice league jogger, and I don't thing they made the Darkseed fortress,

Nobody had the staying power of Kang though. I remember him at drug stores in the 90's.

Thanks Prime!

Vintage what? SW? GI Joe? You're not home till June 20th? :slap

Yep. Oh well - days are flying by now...

Vintage grail? Gotta be one of these...

Am I right? :)

Hmm, no... It might not be what you expect.

It's definitely what some would consider a grail - but not THE grail, for me anyway. Really, it's more about the condition of the piece. That's what I'm most pleased about, I think! Think quality before size.

As much as I would like the Flagg.

No doubt... I don't think you are a true collector if you don't have at least one Kang MOC :lol

Ok, well let me see; I have a complete extra on card set of Marvel Secret was, Original Masters of the Universe, MOTUC, (I DID HAVE AN EXTRA SET OF THE 80's to mid 90' 3/4 GI Joes before I sold them for $4.000 LIKE A D*****S) Gargoyles, Small Soldiers, Inhumanoids, probably the first two years of MacFarlane's Spawn figures, Marvel Legends (Toy-Biz) and so much more of their Marvel stuff I can’t remember what I have, The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set, Legends of the Dark Knight (well, except for all the extra Batmans, but I have all the main characters), So much of the new Star Wars figures when Star Wars the Phantom Menace came out I lost count (3 ¾” to 12”), Playmates 8’’ Star trek figures , (Until they started so many exclusive I couldn’t keep track of them), hundreds of one to two figures from various toy lines over the years and extra sets but not on the cards of a dozen more sets “ because when I was using my old storage building a _____*ing raccoon got in and proceeded to destroy everything thing it could to try and build a nest”. (I Took care of that problem with lethal force, bought a 77” by 12” trailer, and had set it set up by my house, where my four dogs sleep under it now.) And so much other stuff that I’ve bought over the last 43 years that every time I search thought the Toy Trailer (That’s what my family and I call it)) I run across something that I didn’t even know I had.
So, does that qualify me a true collector?

I've got a couple figures coming to the house today! Hoth Luke, AT-AT Driver and Snowtrooper. :rock

That will put me at 60 figures. :D

Congrats! I really like the Hoth stuff, myself. The Snow Trooper especially is awesome.

I'd like to pick up a Probe Droid and Taun Taun, even if that's kind of straying into the vehicle/accessory stuff... They're kind of figures (I'm trying to limit myself to the figures only).
