Want to know what a Holy Grail is? Trying looking for this.

I guess if anyone cared about Small Soldiers toys :huh :cuckoo:

Added three vintage 12-inch figures this week: C-3PO, R2-D2 and the Jawa.

I really need to get some pictures this weekend. I still have a crapload of secret stuff I haven't even mentioned yet. :rock

Did you get them from Vintage City, Richard? I'm grabbing a few small figures from him today.

I missed out on a Death Star yesterday. It ended up going for under 60 shipped and all it was missing was the monster (Can't remember how to spell that things name) and the plastic "rope"... Side panels were in decent shape, but all in all it was a bargain for the price especially since it came with the box. :(

Can't be this becauce I've got it. Had 3 /4 of my GI Joe collection on it at one time, that is until I ran out of room on the deck.

:dunno I'm not sure I understand? A "grail" is something that differs from person to person. You having the Flagg doesn't change someone else's desire to own one.

Wish you snapped a photo or two of your figures on it. That would have been really cool to see. :lecture

Give me a hour or so to find the picture and I'll post it.

But, how did this thread get Hi-jacked into a GI Joe and Stars Wars thread? I thought we were talking about all different kinds of Vintage toys.

We are, I just think there's a few of us, me included, who are focusing on those two lines so the conversation tends to focus on that.... there's been plenty of chats about MUSCLES and Transformers and all kinds of stuff.

You'll have to excuse the pictures, they're from the 80's and way before things got out of hand. Also everything in that room had to be packed up before my Daughter was born.

Had to put this in the closet in was so big.

The Flagg is hands down the most ridiculously large playset of the 80's... it really dwarfs all other sets I can think of. And unlike other toys from my childhood the Flagg is the only thing that was actually bigger than I remembered :lol

I'm still not a big GI Joe fan, but I have to give respect where respect is due :lecture

Hey, give me time to dig out my old pictures of the three towers of Eternia.

Here is my favorite GI Joe Adventure picture. Love the halo.

And here is an old picture of my Sectaurs set before I had to pack it up to.

Ignore the very young couple's picture in the upper left corner.

These pictures were took in the attic, the whole thing took up two picnic tables. It's the three towers of Eternia (Castle Eternia/Palace), the fright Zone. Snake Mountain, and Castle Grayskull. There were latters and bridges that kind of hooked them all together and the tracks for the Transport car went over every playset. Also included is what I had of the set at the time.

But you are right the U.S.S. Flag was one solid playset where this was about four placed together.

Wow, that Hive playset is pretty massive.

I used to have the Captain Power Power Base when I was a kid... that was a pretty fun toy. Really loved the entire series when I was a kid. I'm missing some of the Power Base parts, but my ships are complete and still working :rock

Not my pick, just one used for illustration:

Sure did. It was my second purchase from him. He's got some more nice stuff listed. :panic:

It sucks to miss out on great deals, but keep on the hunt, my friend. That's part of the fun.

I bought all the Captain Power figures and tried that weird 3-D thing you were suppose to be able to do over the TV, but it never worked. I ran across them the other day and will try to pull them out later.

Right now all I have is this Marvel Secret Wars set with the Europe exclusives.

Not sure about the 3D aspect of Captian Power... there were parts of the TV show that were reactive to the toys, but nothing 3D I remember.

Awesome Secret Wars, I have the US figures... hoping to get the European ones someday.

I thought also that there were special interactive VHS tapes made to interact with Captain Power toys as well?. Captain Power was sort of popular for a year or so back when i was a kid, then the line was clearanced faster then most other popular/semi-popular lines of toys.
