Oh they're awesome Rich, I highly recommend them. I need to buy the Making of Empire (supposedly heavily edited).

I'll need to give those a read as well.

I just posted the Jedi Rocks song in the BluRay thread and honestly I'd forgotten just how terrible that sequence actually is. I think of all 3 films Jedi is now the most f'd up out of the lot... too bad as its a really fun flick that is now hard to enjoy.

I don't care, I love JEDI always have. I was 4 and it worked, Kenner JEDI figures have THE best quality overall from the original line. Some of my favorite figures are from Jedi. Not my #1 but the sculpts and paint apps in that line were top notch IMO.

There's a lot of variety in the Jedi line. I was 15 when it came out, so I never really had any figures from that film since I was getting interested in videogames (Atari 2600 FTW). Should've been getting into ladies, though.

Even with the changes? I wish I could say the same but with Jedi Rocks in the middle and Hayden's ghost at the end I was barely hanging on. Now this stupid No is just adding insult to injury.

I've always though of Jedi (unaltered) as being the most fun out of the series... but the changes just suck the fun out of it for me.

And I agree, the figures for ROTJ are the best of the series, they released some awesome figures :rock

Were you really into the ladies? Or by ladies do you mean the 5 knucle-shuffle? :lol

About the only addition I like from JEDI was the Sarlaac was alright, and I like the music at the end but didn't mind the Ewoks either. Also when the little Ewok hit the helmets I prefer the SE sound e/fx better than the drum sounding one.

I wan going to say that.

It's weird, but even though I hate Jedi Rocks, IF they ever released vintage-style figures of the extra band members, I'd probably buy them.

Ditto any prequel stuff. But ONLY if they match Kenner style. Something I've always kind of hoped for...

I would not buy anything from Jedi Rocks ever... I dislike it too strongly :lol

I do love the vintage band Rebo Band set though, very cool set of figures.

Totally agree... and that shot was intended to show off some of my better figures :lol
