Thanks to Craigslist my buddy and I scored big with vintage goodies this weekend. Pics to come...

My R2 with lightsaber showed up. He's a beauty!

Nice! Let me know when you're ready for that German Mechanic figure. :wave

Congrats on R2 and completing your set!

Thanks for the reminder on the Mechanic. I should be good by the end of the week. :rock

Ok, I finally got around to going through the lot I bought and snapping some pics...

First up a lot of mixed figures including 2 huge grails of mine, Super Powers Batman and Robin!:

Next up some Starcom! Sadly, no figures were found though they are probably in the guys attic somewhere. I hope to find them next time I go.

And now we have the main reason I went there, the guy's entire childhood collection of M.A.S.K.!!! Mostly everything is in near-mint condition and 99% complete. Sadly, most of the figures are missing. The ones not in boxes do have the boxes but they were in poor shape so I'm trying to flatten them out.:

Hidden in the box was this lil gem, a carded Matt Trakker/Hondo McClane 2-pack:

I finally have a Boulder Hill!:

He also threw in his childhood M.A.S.K. bed set (top sheet, fitted sheet & pillowcase) as well as a matching sleeping bag!:

There are some other things I didn't get pics of like a ton of vintage Construx and Lego as well as 2 complete Steel Monsters vehicles w/drivers. My buddy went as well and scored some insane stuff as well like the really, really rare Magnum P.I. Ferrari with Thomas Magnum figure.

The guy we bought from still has a HUGE G.I. Joe collection including the Flagg and MOTU but I didn't have enough money. If he still has it in the next few months I might try to work something out. We'll see.

Madcow...

I hate you!

What a great score...

I think i have a small bag of M.A.S.K figures lying around... not sure which ones right now, but i know they don't have all their masks...

I can dig them out if you're interested?

M.

I'm very happy for you, but it's always strange for me to hear someone call something I have two or three of a grail. :dunno

You talking about Batman and Robin? For me, they were huge favorites of mine as a kid and I've always wanted to own them again. Hence they were personal "grails" of mine. Everyone has their own definition of the term. Yes, they are easy to buy figures on eBay but I try to find them either through flea markets, garage sales, etc. It makes the find so much more fulfilling.

Klocket, I might be interested. I'm still working on seeing which I need. I'll let you know, thanks!

The last couple figures arrived, so I'm officially at 100% now. Stormtrooper Luke is probably more a C8 or so, but it's just a little paint scraped off his back hip area, so I don't think it will be noticeable when they're all displayed.

Now I just need to move and get them all set up. :rock
