I'm doing some major cleaning and found a Tomart's guide from 1992. A loose Yak Face was $50 back then. Stormtrooper Luke was $30 and R2 was only $14. I paid $100 more for R2 20 years later.

Odds are .... I have a bid on an Imperial Dignitary right now that I really hope I win. It seems like I get in a bit of a slow period here and there where I just stop winning/finding figures. I'd guess it's more a matter of nutting up and placing larger bids.

So, were you paying attention to the Rams when they suddenly cut the 9ers lead to one score late in the game Sunday? I was crapping my pants.

I was watching the scores scrolling across the bottom of the screen anxiously. When I saw the little yellow triangle next to San Francisco (meaning they got possession back) my heart sank.

Oh, well. If the Saints are the best team, then they should be able to play the extra game, going on the road and win. If they can't do that, then they don't deserve to get to the big games.

49ers/Saints could be a great matchup, though.

Still planning on picking up a few of the vintage ones to fill that need.

49ers/Saints could be a great matchup, though.

Home field means the world in a matchup like the Saints/9ers, who are both polar opposites. The Saints are tough (or this year, impossible) to beat at home. If we play them at the Stick it will slow their offense just a bit, and that's an advantage.

Either way, beating the Pack at Lambeau will be a tough task.
