It looked much larger when I was six. :lol

On another note, I came across a sealed box of ROTLA Canadian trading cards, so I'm assuming they are in English and French. But I can't bring myself to open the packs.

I would hazard a guess that they are in English only.

I never owned any of those cards specifically, but none of the cards I did have as a kid (and we had lots, me, my brothers, friends) never had any French on them.

There might have been French only or bilingual cards sold in Quebec, though, for all I know.

Reminds me... Did you guys have Panini sticker books in the US? You'd buy packs of stickers - packaged like cards - and put them in a book. I've really been meaning to pick up the Transformers and GI Joe ones at least...

Yes, we had Panini books! I had all the Star Wars ones as well as the Baseball and Football sets. Loved those things!!!

Yep, sure did. I was mainly interested in the TMNT box, but the dealer gave me a good deal to take both off her hands.

Nice haul, especially that Gremilns box. Those TMNT boxes are usually marked up too so it's nice to find such a nice example. All this wax nostalgia has me going through my collection and seeing what packs I'm missing.

Might have a good local source on old non-sports card sets. Not sure if he's got unsealed boxes, guess we'll see... All I'd really like, I think, is a set of WWF ones. Not sure which - I'll know the ones we had as a kid when I see it, I guess!

I'm not really familiar which ones were made... I've got a box of GI Joe ones from the early '90s myself, but otherwise I'm not that familiar with them.

Yeah, my wife still has a hockey one and I think Jem, from when she was a kid! This guy I met apparently has some as well, looking forward to seeing the condition...

Post what you pick up!

Ooh, let us know what they have. There are a few vintage sets I'd love to get someday.

Full boxes? Off the top off my head: The Dark Crystal, The Black Hole, Temple of Doom, Magnum PI. For boxes I tend to stick to my favorite properties that I collect. I'd love to get Raiders and Tron boxes eventually.

As for sealed packs, I have pretty much everything put out in the 80's for TV and Movies. I've been working on oddball stuff and 70's stuff but the old packs can get expensive. I'll dig up some pics.

Guys need help identifying this toy, i remember it has other robots in the show.

Guys. I want to buy some loose vintage. And no, I don't mean Waller's nut sack...

Where do I begin? :dunno

I was thinking one figure per paycheck, since I now have three jobs, and theoretically six paychecks per month.

That is a great collection. I came across a loose set of the "V" TV show trading cards and found there was a printing/numbering error in the set. Different images on the front, but the description on the back was the same for both. It's a pretty weak set. On some cards, all they did was flip the image, give it a different description and label it as a new card.

Yeah, some old sets were done very cheesy but then you'd get really good sets with nice additions like collage-back cards and sticker sets.

Here are the pics of some of my packs:

I've gotten more since I took these pics but just haven't gotten around to cataloging and taking pics.

I just absolutely love the artwork on these. It may be cheesy but it's a lost art form IMHO and holding them brings back such great memories from my childhood.
