Oh yeah, I remember Bravestarr... Never really got into it, but it's cool.

Was anyone into the mini-figure stuff? Obviously everyone remembers M.U.S.C.L.E. but what about Guts and Army Ants? I loved those.

i had some GUTS figures. don't think i had any army ants but i remember them.

i really liked Battle Beasts the best. i was working on putting a set together a few years ago but now the prices have gone up so much that i just don't wanna continue with it. i could get them for about $3 to $4 a piece just 2 years ago. now people want $15 to $20 a piece for them. i could get a MOTUC figure for that. i'm thinking of selling off my partial set.

FOUND IT!!!!! Anyone remember these!

I remember the hatchlings... just not the name. They really look like ____ when they come out of the water :lol

I once left a Godzilla grow toy in a large Mason jar just to see what would happen. It actuallly filled up the jar; probably 10x its original size. Eventually he' broke in half, but still was kind of recognizable 2 or so years later when I tossed him in the trash.

Crap, I didn't realize that was a figure... I saw the head and paint and assumed it was the statue from a few years back. That looks totally badass and everything I wanted the Armada figure to be :rock

**Runs to eBay to see how much these cost :panic:

EDIT $200... :monkey2 So when/where were these sold?

They can still be found around $150, which is retail. He is sold out right now but he's still in production. I'll keep an eye out for you GB. :duff

Don't know which ones you were looking at, but Battle Beasts have been expensive for a long time. I remember at least 5 or 6 years ago looking at building my collection back up and they were ridiculously expensive. You could got lots of them without weapons for a fair price but with the weapons forget it.

Yeah, I always thought those were cool. Never had a one though, back in the day.

I think they're popular because they're somehow connected to TFs, if I recall correctly?

Yeah, not 100% on the BB connection to Transformers, but I think they were a spin-off series that got picked up and distributed in the US w/o any connection to their roots.

And like the M.U.S.C.L.E. series, figures kept being released in Japan and and can sell for $100s a piece. Pretty sure they are called Laser Beasts.

Same for me, money bags $$$$

Thanks Deak... and Skiman, get your own helpful person :cuss

Dudes, there is plenty of Deak to go around. Oh, wait. :(

Stopped by a toy store close to my office Friday and scored a Hammerhead, X-Wing Luke and Vader. All are very mint with tight joints and perfect paint.

Pics or they didn't vintage!

Uh, if memory serves me right (and I could be talking out of my ass) I believe the BB were used in the Japanese line with Autobot/Decepticon rub symbols on them. I think. Too lazy to Wiki it.

Just lost out on a snowspeeder auction by a dollar. The sniper got sniped! :horror

Oh, well. I really shouldn't be buying stuff other than the figures right now or I'll never get to 100%.
