Nice AND he has his tail! Score.

Can we still rate threads?

Thanks man, I'm stoked to get him!!!

And no need to rate the thread, we all know its badass!!! :hi5:

Wow, holy crap! Congrats man. That toy is AWESOME in person.

Thanks, I think I've only ever seen one that was beat to hell... so getting to finally own one in good condition is awesome :rock

Guys, I have so much old stuff from 40+ years of collecting I wish I could pull it all out and take pictures, but I haven't the time or room to do it. It really hurts having so much and not being able to enjoy the majority of it. I'll see pictures from other posts and think I've got that and that, but to be honest the way my storage building (a 12' by 77' trailor) is, I couldn't get to it even if I knew exactly where it was; depressing. :(

Congrats on the Krakken bro! I just pulled the trigger on a complete set of Battle Beasts! Missing 3 weapons, but a chariot and some extra weapons. I can't wait--I've wanted this set since forever. :rock :rock:rock

:lol Very cool. You've got some great stuff!

Thanks for getting everything back on track with this 80's badass. I just spent 5 minutes catching up on this thread and nothing was even remotely relevant until Metlar showed up. Those vids are sick tho.

Just awesome Nintenjoe! I never had a single Inhumanoid toy as a kid but I totally loved the show... that really brings me back.

thanks guys. appreciate the comments.

Awesome.

I don't know a lot about Battle Beasts - is that the full collection? For some reason, I expected more...

Kind of another reason I appreciate vintage collecting. There's a clear goal to achieve. One of the reasons I won't touch new Hasbro SW figures, but am happily collecting the old Kenner ones.

76 in the original American first three series. Another 36 Laser Beasts in what's considered series 4. I'm already pricing those and they ain't cheap--but sofaking cool!

It's also fun doing eBay searches on vintage stuff. That's how I went from Kenner SW to getting the Indy Well of the Souls playset and the big Alien.

What was the most popular Inhumanoid? I'm trying to remember those guys... :banghead

There were 3 large ones; Metlar (seen above), Tendril and Decompose. As well as rock and tree charactes and humans. Pretty cool series, here's a page with a lot of the info.

Inhumanoids

I always thought Tendril was the coolest of the series... but don't know if one was more popular than the others.

that's a toss up toss up between tendril and d.compose. they're 2 out of the 3 giant inhumanoid figures. the other being metlar. i got metlar pretty cheap a few years ago but know they all command a pretty high price in nice boxes. it's gonna be a pain to get these 2 guys.

D. Compose's chest cavity opens up, right?

yup. you could trap the smaller human figures in there. i remember a school friend getting this at his birthday party. that was the first and last time i saw one in person and it was awesome.

And don't forget there are 2 versions of Tendril; one has longer mouth tentacles than the other... and the longer one is definitely cooler :lecture
