Is that yours, Richard? That's a 77? I'd love to have that as a coffee mug here at work. :(

Yeah, I just received it today. It's one of the crazy random things I come up with sometimes on my eBay searches. Rumph also did Obi-Wan and Darth Vader mugs. You can't tell from the picture, but the thing is HUGE! It's almost 7 inches tall and weighs 2.5 pounds.

It would be a fine mug for some beer. :yess:

Yeah, I just looked them up. EBay prices are around 70-80 for BINs, but there's an Obi Wan on auction that's currently around 30 with a day left... Still, I think I'd rather wait for a Chewie as that looks to be the coolest of the three. An Imperial Stout out of that Chewie mug would be phenomenal! :duff:

I've had this Vader night light since I was a kid and it's now in my sons bathroom. I was just taking a look at prices for those on the bay and they're dirt cheap...

Anyway, I guess a 3PO version was made too... I think I might grab one. :lol

That mug is great looking... a lot of times items like that look kind of crappy, but its actually well done :rock

It's the kind of mug you would find at renfest or an art festival.

If you search for Rumph, they have some rather interesting looking mugs on eBay.

I may do that... mind if I ask what this one set you back?

It was about $24 plus shipping. I thought it was a great deal becuase the BIN listings are a lot higher.

It looks like it's never been used because it has some green felt circles around the bottom of the base, but that probably won't stop me from turning it into a beer mug. :duff

I have one of the chewie mugs.

My dad bought it back in 77 and just rencently gave it to me when he found out I was a collector.

I find it's sculpt to be really good for 1977.

I don't drink from it, I just display in my Star Wars display cabeinet.

That is a fantastic mug! I've always wanted one myself.

Word around the campfire is that mug, along with an Artoo cookie jar, are George Lucas' personal favorite items in the expansive universe of Star Wars merchandising. They say it's one of the few SW things he has on display in his office. Kinda cool.

Damn that Kong mug is pretty awesome... not the same thing but I used to have a mug with a frog in the bottom; I thought that was so cool when I was 5 :lol

That is frickin' sweet Richard! Oddly enough I have been eying one of these at a local shop here in town. I can pick i up for a cool $75 and I'd be the 2nd owner. I love this thread.
