Check out this great '80s toy collection from Mark Bellomo.

This is only 1 part out of 18.

Yeah, good vid. I watched all of that before Aire's video series.

Flophouse is actually a well-known member at Yojoe.com - he did a lot of the new pics for the vehicles, and it's a much better site for it. I was impressed at his documentary skills, too - although the one with Bellomo seems to be a bit better, technically I mean. I don't know much about film-making but it seemed that way.

Aire's collection is just awe-inspiring though.

I've got both editions of Bellomo's GI Joe books, too. Really good resource, and fun to read. Seeing both of their collections had a lot of "I remember that!" moments for me - combined with this thread, they've really made me want to branch out a bit, and get some key pieces from lines other than GI Joe and Kenner SW.

This thread has been awesome in that respect. It's great seeing what other people have or have been buying because it gives me ideas. There is so much great stuff out there, it's hard to remember it all.

There are also these Flightpose stands at Big Bad Toy Store, but I think this size is sold out.

Nice!

Has anyone picked up any of these ? I have been meaning try them.

Well if you need a dignitary with a nose rub and a Gunner w/o a gun I can hook you up!!!

If I could afford it ! LOL.

Damn... that's a good price.

Large lots are a good way to save some cash, get ones you need and sometimes even turn a profit getting rid of those you don't.

I'd be game to share in it with you guys if we cold.

Maybe its time we combine our forces on some of these lots... although who gets what could get confusing

Enjoy!

Go-bots were the cheap imitations to the transformers.

All I had at first were go bots. Got them in little japanese boxes at the comic shop. I had that Cycle one and the drill one for sure.l

Oh yeah, I remember Bravestarr... Never really got into it, but it's cool.

Was anyone into the mini-figure stuff? Obviously everyone remembers M.U.S.C.L.E. but what about Guts and Army Ants? I loved those.

Bravestarr was so cool.

Damn I had that !!!!

:wave:hi5::wave

Hey man you know it was only a matter of time, especially after you guys tempting me with the vintage loose pieces. :clap

I would have by now, if I were at home.

The stands I have are great for some of the larger GI Joe planes, but not for smaller stuff, like the SHARC for example.

I plan on getting a bunch of these and seeing what I can do with them.

Yeah I have pieces I would not mind using it for, just need to know how well they work and the different sizes. I mean a 4" on is like $14 plus shipping.

Yeah, they're not cheap... I plan on buying at least one set, and seeing what I can do with them. Unfortunately I won't be home until summer...

I'll get some eventually for my SW Kenner ships. Just have to work out the display space, etc.

Same boat... I have a pretty nice Tie Interceptor; but sometime within the last couple of years the electronic function stopped working :huh

I do plan on at least getting a Falcon, X-Wing, White Tie Fighter and AT-AT. I have a pretty beat-up Slave 1; but I'm keeping it as it was mine from when I was a kid.

:lecture Skiff or GTFO.

Right, might as well start with the cheap ones :lol Should pick up a MISB one of those and the Ewok War Wagon :lol
