I used to LOVE my Super Joe figure. They used to have a chest light with the battery in the backpack. The best part was that you could buy accessory packs that plugged into the battery pack and would be working tools like saws or a helipack.

Here are a couple of links from Plaid Stallions:

I lost mine years ago and I looked into getting them again, but alas they have not survived the ravages of time very well. If you find them, the rubber bands that held the limbs in place have all rotted away. So you're just left with a pile of body parts!

How much did Atomic Man set you back? I've always really liked that figure :rock

Mine is near mint and complete. I was able to snag him for $20 shipped.

If you see any of the others GB, let me know.

I see that alot. There are a few guys that fix them. But not sure I always trust sending it out.

This is another one high on my list, but he's proving to be a challenge to get at a reasonable price:

Does anybody collect Tonka Trucks? I remember my father bought me the Tonka dump truck, and crane and tractor for Christmas. I also had the Tonka Indian Winnebago trailer with the family. Those toys were made so well unlike today, everything is cheap plastic.

this is the only moc infacables figure i have. for some reason they're really tough to find on an all english card. i'll eventually sell this one when i do get the all english version.

Why is it that every vintage toy I see in this thread kicks all kinds of ass?

Awesome... I just learned about Infaceables a few weeks back. I've had a loose one (face missing) for years but never knew what it was... wish I had one that still worked :rock

And good news on the Kraken front... I'll be getting a full refund :rock :rock Which is good as the $40 off would have been a deal; a Kraken in similar condition (complete, but with a completley broken fin) just sold for around $70 :google

Now off to track down another one.

Now, I don't know much about 12" Joes (other than Sideshow, I guess), but there's a well known GI Joe collector named Aire who is actually featured on a series of Youtube videos called "Collectable Spectacle". She's got an ENORMOUS GI Joe and vintage toy collection. In one of the videos she demonstrates how to repair the bands in a 12" Joe.

I don't know if it's the same as Super Joe, but it's worth a look... really for anyone here, actually.

If it's not really the same kind of repair job, I really recommend emailing her (I think she gives away her email at the end of the last video). If anyone knows how to do it, she will.

I'll have to show my AT setup :rock

:panic::panic::panic:

So are the adventure team figures 12"... or are they smaller?

I thought they were 13" back in the 70's but I am not sure, have to measure.

This is a great figure. Got one back when it was first released and it is still a part of my vintage display. Sadly, the lungs and blood only "kinda" work.

Yeah well, that is understandable. I would love one that kinda works too LOL.

I had a couple Pulsars last year that I sold on ebay. I'll hafta disagree--not a great figure. Wankster Million Dollar Man.

Well we all have our taste.

Personally I had them both so I loved them both.

Respect.:1-1:

For that blood pumping feature, I hafta go with MotU Mosquitor. Mine still pumps the blood and it looks great--especially when it gets and churned and bubbly. I have yet seen a Pulsar that still works, though admittedly I haven't really been looking for one and when I do pick one up it's at the flea market.

A few items I'm selling at the moment... but still vintage goodness I thought I'd share (btw, these are just doubles).

I don't have pictures yet, but M.U.S.C.L.E. 10 and 4 packs came in all pink, mixed pink and colored and all colored varieties. I have one of each 4 pack and just need an all flesh 10 pack to finish the set :rock
