Depends on what you want Rich, if you want a nice one...you gotta pay. I'd be wary of eBay as you never know when one has been touched up. I am trying to acquire a near mint right now, it's a beeyotch to find a minty mint one. Always try to buy in person, SDCC always has good deals/finds. So do SW Celebrations. That's where I picked up my Yak Face and EV-9D9 from Cloud City Collectibles (RIP).

Gabe ?
I paid around $70 for my Blue Snags... he has the wear on the boots, but its so common I have no problem with it on my figure. I can't justify an extra $100+ just to have a bit more silver paint
But, I'm not a real stickler about condition as long as the figures look good and are complete I'm happy with them.
7 minutes.
I thought you missed my post there, I was going to direct you back to it
Hmmm.... maybe minty Snags might not be so minty.
I'd suggest keeping a search (on eBay, or a WTB thread on Rebelscum) open for the the more expensive figures you'll need like Blue Snags, Yak Face, Stormtrooper Luke, etc... that way if a deal comes along you can jump on it. I don't think there is a massive rush to get them purchased since the prices on them have been pretty steady over the last couple of years; but never hurts to be open to a good deal
How long can Gabe not eat for?
Deak, forward me to them constantly for MOTUC True story, IT DID HAPPEN!
So with the higher end pieces, POTF and Blue Snags, there's going to be issues with refurbished figures eh? I'd like to have a fairly nice one. Minty mint would run around 5 bills?
Are the prices any better at the cons?
No worries with BT's.... that place is off the charts in terms of their asking prices.
I've looked over at ETM but have never bought from there... I might try a WTB thread over at RS to see what I come up with.

<-- Justified. What can I say, I am looking for the highest quality collection I can afford. I went back and took out about 20 figures I am trying to upgrade right now. But I don't expect everyone to understand the sickness. I mean come on, it's not like they're $200 Indy jackets or $1000 Dexter clothes.

Better prices yes, and more to choose from. I am just saying to be wary of some figures, the Kenner SW market is filled with scumbags trying to pawn off repros and repaints as the real deal. Just be careful is all. Rebelscum would be a good place to go, just don't buy into that AFA crap. Minty mint, 5 hundee? No, probably more like $300 tops. But again that's a matter of perception.
Not directed at you my friend... I do understand the sickness, luckily I'm immune to it Or at least my "gotta get a good deal" ways prevent me from going overboard. For some reason I get more enjoyment finding a not-so-minty figure for a lot less, than tracking down a near-perfect piece.
And don't get me started on the ridiculous price people are paying for custom 1/6 bits
Or are they?
I've seen a HT Wolverine head...just the head sell for one-fitty! Wowzers! But, Nick's gotta eat so buy my HT Robocop!!! :chew
