Who remembers this???

Here's my story behind it. When I was around 11 years old, I got this Nerf football. The FIRST time my brother and our friend played with it, we lost it in a neighbors yard. We had him look for it, and it completely disappeared. Not only did it disappear from his yard, but for the next 16 years, it disappeared from existence. I've been searching for it for all of this time.

Fast forward to last December. I FOUND IT!!! On a random sporting goods shop in Canada. They had a barely functional website. After 3 months of shipping screw ups on their part, I finally got it. I ordered 3. One to open and play with, one to keep as a back up in case the other gets lost, and one for the friend that lost the original with us.

Unfortunately, the liquid inside the ring has turned to sparkly dust. HAHAHAHAHAHA

I have been looking for some original He Man and Thundercats figures but being in Memphis, I don't think there are any toy or collectible stores here.

"The Blank was sold exclusively in Canada and was initially withheld because the mask (attached to hat) is removable revealing Madonna and the surprise ending of the film. By the time the figure was cleared, sales of ____ Tracy merchandise had died off. Figure would never have been released except for a Sears Canada contract which had to be fulfilled up to Christmas, 1990".

I've heard it referred to over the years as one of the rarest figures out there.

Neat.

My brothers and I had a few of these back then. I don't know why, but I really liked these figures... and I was 12 in '90, and not really into action figures anymore. It was probably more my bros buying these, and me playing around with them, but I do remember thinking the Blank looked the coolest.

I don't THINK I ever saw him/her on the shelves. I'm from Canada, btw.

just got this in. i already have one so i'm putting it on my for sale thread if anyone is interested.

One of the coolest variants for old bone head. I'd love to see a Classics version of Terror Claws and Dragon Blaster Skeletor. How much Joe? Just curious. Ski I will be taking pics of my collection this weekend if you're still interested.

Seems like a good price to me. Not my cup of tea, but I'm sure you'll find a buyer for that.

I think Ozone from Breakin' would have something to say about half shirts in the 80's... nothing here looks even remotely gay :lecture

Went through some old toys of mine over the weekend. I found bits and pieces of Zartan, Destro, Firefly, Snake Eyes v1, and some other assorted Joes. They were all totally useless but it reminded me just how much I played with those figures.

Found four or five Visionaries, no weapons or staffs but they did have their helmets and were in decent shape. Condor and Piranha from M.A.S.K., both missing parts and beat up too... The nicest figures I found were four WWF Hasbro figures, Hogan, Macho Man, Million Dollar Man and Jake the Snake. No Snake or Million Dollar title but they're in great shape and nice enough to display.

Man, most of my childhood toys were destroyed... very little was salvageable from a collector stand point :lol

I think the WWE figures are more or less an anomaly. I destroyed the LJN ones so the later Hasbro versions didn't get much play. I still need to post pics of my old vintage SW figs from my childhood. Chopped off hands, swapped heads, sharpie marker all over them, etc. I was surprised to see the bits and pieces of the GI Joe figures to be honest. I thought they were all sacrificed to the lawn mower gods. :lol

The paint off those old LJN ones were always the first to go. They were amazing rubber figures with a great scale, man I was so rough with mine. I think I even bust the middle of the ring up with body slams of King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd :rotfl

That got me thinking, my brother was just the opposite... Here's his collection thread:

Many of the vintage TFs were originally his, incl Fortress Maximus and a few other pieces. All kept in wonderful condition.

He also has a great collection of Vintage TMNT and Thundercats that for some unexplained reason just sit in boxes.
