Awesome pic. I love displaying my Sideshow Joes and SW side-by-side with their 3 3/4" counterparts, too!

JOES ftw! :rock

Nice M.U.S.C.L.E. find... although two of them (the blue pyramid head and the finned monster with 3 claws) are from a different series. Might be Ultraman figures, or from a similar line.

Thanks Jo, anyone want to buy them? :naughty

Empire figs seem to be some of the easiest to pick up... but also a lot of cool figures in the mix :roc I think Boba is really the only Empire figure that seems to cost more than $10 for a great example.

:panic:

Bespin Leia commands a decent price, but yeah, some of my favorites like Hoth Han, IG-88 and Boba Fett, who's more a SW release, at least on card, can be snapped up for 10 or less... Too bad all three of my old Fetts are too banged up to be part of my current collection. :(

I need around 40 figures before I hit the last 17, so there will be a ton of cheap but awesome figures to be had in that time.

Last 17... man that is some pain right there. Do you have any of the POTF figures yet, or will you be starting from the ground up?

Ah... yeah that hurts :lol

One piece of advice on the POTF, don't buy loose ones w/o weapons (this just applies to completely unique accessories) thinking you can get one later on for a good deal. I did that with the Imperial Gunner and could never find a legit loose blaster for less than $40 :google So, even though you might see some good deals I'd stick with complete figures only.

I think Yak Face would be the only obvious exception as his weapon is very easy to find with other characters.

Bespin Han is in my top 5 figures of all time. I know people knock JEDI, but some of THE BEST sculpts came out of that line. There are the most figures in the Jedi line and some of the best looking too. JEDI is underrated as a film and toy line.

Just Amanaman.... :(

Off to a pretty good start, I'd say! Isn't he one of the more expensive ones?

As for me, I started off with the Ewoks. I don't know what it is about them, but I love the Kenner Ewok figures! I just wanted to get them all, so I got the POTF ones.

Got Endor Luke as well, and since then picked up General Lando and Han in Carbonite. I didn't want to get all the SW, ESB and ROTJ and then have the daunting task of getting the POTF ones, so I'm picking them up as I can. Expensive, but definitely cool to have!

I love Jedi... Hell, I love Ewoks! The ENTIRE Jabba portion is easily as good as anything in the Trilogy.... Not to mention the Luke, Vader, Emperor stuff.

Skiff Lando and Boush are still two favorites of mine.:lecture

Is there a visual guide available ? Maybe something for Android or Ipod ? That would be awesome help for a noob like me !

I want Paploo quite a bit... I plan to get one of the last 17 here and there so I'm not left needing all 16 remaining figures at the end... I know Anakin can be had pretty cheap... Though I think he's the only one. :lol

I looked for apps recently and found nothing. That would be cool though....

There's always RS:

I know there's quite a few other sites and some really get into the most obscure details, and most of us don't seem to be into the minutia... And trust me, it's mind blowing.

Yeah, wasn't he also a mail-away? Probably why. I should pick him up as well, though.

Paploo is great - one of the very last SW figures I actually had as a kid, so I had to pick him up!

Anakin, Imperial Dignitary, Barada, General Calrissian and Poncho Luke were all fairly affordable if I remember correctly. I've seen pretty high prices for all of them from time to time, but think I got in under $25/$30 on all of them.
