Are you still doing a "Tarkin top" ? Whatever body I use for my Tarkin , the Hasbro top always seems short in the arms . P.M me with details .:D

@Vivisect....Oh Yeah that Joker and Batman are VERY tempting.....

BTW...what I wanna know....The cloth you use for that cloak, gotta pretty natural hang to it....or did you tweak the cloak a lot before you shot that picture???

Now here is a question for you :angelsmil...could I get back to you if my attempt on that Ubese cape fails???? :angelsmil

It hangs pretty good on its own the picture was with it unmessed with at all, as a matter of fact the one in the pictures would hung better but the bottom hem was done with a special automatic rolled hem foot and its 3 layers thick, so the rest will be better since the hem will be only 2 layers. Then I will soak future ones in water with a bit of fabric softener. Then to loosen more if people want just take a little sand paper to the inside and mabee the outside.

as for the Ubese stuff, no problem, If you need anything let me know.

I'm loving my Weequay outfit! Thank you to you and Dorgmal Snow for bringing that costume together. Looks great.

I will be doing some imp uniforms but the fabric I have gotten for them will not match any Hasbro stuff, and for Tarkin the stuff I picked up is gray with just a tint of green in it, the Hasbro is just way to green, and yea the sleeves on all the Hasbro Star Wars stuff is pretty short:banghead. why they used the hall of fame bodies for them when their GI Joe line had moved on to new bodies I will never understand

I Still need to get some other stuff done before I start those but I already got the materials. I was planning to mabee do 2 versions, one that would basically be the same as the way sideshow made them, and a more film accurate version with no visible stitching showing anywhere.

Anyhow that's still a week or 2 away, so I got time to figure it out.

Nice Joker, I pieced mine together from the 1st one they made by getting all the parts separately off eBay...

I have the 1st (not DX) The Dark Knight version of Batman, it is super freakin' awesome! He has rubber boots... But the ankles can be moved and posed and they stay hoewever you put them! He's really great, doesn't even need a stand because he can stand up on his own, even in some more dynamic poses...

Hot Toys is amazing, you definitely need more of their figures!

I actually want to get the regular Hot toys Batman because I don't really want all the extra crap the DX Batman has, I wanted to make a Bruce Wayne out of the spare head the regular one come with but it seems the Batman Begins Bruce Wayne head looks much better for that with the way its hair is and all. I may and try and pick up a PERS head for Batman of ebay and stick it on the regular version because the moving eyeball's are freakin awesome.

Also if someone with access to both a Slim True Type and a Narrow Shoulder True Type could let me know if the measurement around the body at the armpits would be smaller on a slim TT, The top vest snap showing is bothering the crap out of me.:lol

But you could of course get a TDK batman (much cooler IMO!) and get a BB Wane/Bale sculpt and PERS Batman head...

the DX Batman head is for TDK batman, so getting the reg. TDK batman would match better....

Actually I'm pretty sure the Wane sculpts are almost exactly the same...

Thats what I meant the regular TDK batman not the original costume, to much confusion, to many Batmans.:lol.

After looking at the heads again they are pretty much the same, I think they may only be painted different or it was just the pictures I was looking at, I went to Hot Toys site and looked this time. So I will just use the one the comes with the tdk batman or mabee get one elsewhere.

I did some looking into Two face and it seems piecing together the important bits can be cheap, so I might do that also, or just buy a complete one.

I also found out that apparently somebody (I'm gonna blame Dorgmal :D) has bought up every slim TT body on earth except the ones people want over $50 for.:lol

I have been wanting to do a Boshek (https://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/BoShek) at some point and ran across someone selling the space helmets on ebay with free shipping, they are auctions but I got mine for $2.25 shipped and so far they have all gone for under $5. The guys apparently got a bunch and he puts more than 1 up for auction at a time so there's less competition for each one. So if anyones interested in building a Boshek and needs a helmet here's the link to this guys items.

And here is a nice custom Boshek that was up for auction on ebay a while back.

BoShek was always a character that intrigued me in the cantina seen when I saw ANH as a kid.

Dark Horse did a BoShek story some time ago that gave him the recognition and back story he deserved. I think Kevin Anderson did it as well in novel form.

Can't wait to see your take on him.

Wow! Your work looks amazing! I'm looking for someone who can do prototype clothing for 1/9 scale action figures and was wondering if this is something you might be interested in trying? I'll be needing some prototype clothing made for a series of action figures based on the late 70's Buck Rogers TV series. My company, ZICA Toys, is just now getting ready to release series one and I'd like to get a head start on series two.

vivisect, putting my biker scout together now. still on your 3 week time frame for cumberbunds? let me know when these are available & put me down for one.......:chew

Hello guys, Its been a about about 2 weeks since I posted anything in this thread, but I have been getting some stuff done.

First thing up I have finished are the 2 scout trooper cummerbund and pouch setups I did for Mark (they are already on there way to you). As soon as I get a few other thing finished up that I've been working on I can whip up some more if anyone's interested in getting some.

I made the cummerbund so it only has visible stitching for the patterns on the front and the crotch, and one line on the back. The pouches on the other hand do not have any visible stitching at all since I was trying to get it to look like the prop on the last picture and the statue in the picture before it. I also stuffed the pouches with cotton batting that can be removed.

I used Velcro to attach them and for a closure, Its extremely thin, both sides together are about a .5 mm thick, and its got heat activated glue on it so it attaches with an iron, the only downside to this stuff is its expensive as far as Velcro goes ($7 a yard :horror). The other reason for using it to attach the pouches is that I don't own a scout and that depending on the body used they are able to be moved around a bit to position them properly.

One other thing I should mention is that the pouches looked a little big to me but it seems its just because the figure in the pictures doesn't have any armor on and has no hands.:lol Also the spot between the cummerbund and crotch piece would normally be covered by the belt.

Is it just me or does this particular GI Joe look like he's high as a kite.
