I think the Magic Kingdom is taking a step in the right direct with their Fantasyland expansion. That will set the two parks apart for sure. Though I think they should have timed it better and have it open during their 40th Anniversary celebration.

Agreed. And Avatar Kingdom happening by 2018, there needs to be more to fill the gap. I hope they're cooking something up. The world's highest attended resort should always be adding things new big or small.

Last night, Disneyland had a private party for select Annual Passholders who RSVPd. Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, and Main Street was open just for them from 8pm-Midnight with a special showing of the Soundsational Parade at 9:30pm.

It was a great time because... it was free (we all had annual passes anyhow) and there were no crowds. Imagine 5 minute wait for Space Mountain, Star Tours, Peter Pan, Dumbo, etc. It was a really comfortable time and perfect Southern California weather too.

Here's some pics from last night...

Jack o Lanterns grace every window on Main Street. I like this one at the music shop...

One of the real treats though is that they parked the parade floats on Main Street to get closer looks at them.

The artists and designers were on hand to meet with fans and answer questions... and show off some cool mock-ups.

Thanks for sharing your photos with us again, Coheteboy... I had a REALLY lousy day at work and your photos are just what I needed to see.

I too wish that I could visit the park more often than I do... I have 18 months more to wait. until the next time. :monkey2 :monkey2 :monkey2

Bummer about your work day! Glad I can help in any way. If you guys have any requests for certain pics of something, I will do my best to get them and that way you'll have something extra to look forward to!

Your pictures are brilliant Coheteboy. I wish I can capture all that magic when I take pics during my visits, lol.

We went on the first night for the H party. We had a blast there! First time seeing DLand transformed into something even more magical.

Thanks, 2ndname, you're too kind! I never done the Mickey's Halloween Party. How is it?

I don't have any photo requests, but I'm definitely picking your brain when I start planning my Disneyland trip!

We had a great time. It was our first time seeing Disneyland transformed for Haloween so everything just seemed...perfect, lol. The parade was awesome, the fixed up rides were all beyond what we were exepecting, the candy was the icing, heh.

Got back late last night/early this morning from three days at Disneyland, including the Halloween Party, which the kids enjoyed. It took me five rides on Star Tours to see all of the different segments, but it was a lot of fun riding it over and over again.

Well it's been awhile since I've been to Disneyland but my recent trip was more about getting some Star Tours toys so I didn't have a lot of time to enjoy myself but here's just a few shots..

Did you get the new Speeder? My brother is in WDW right now and told me they were out there. :yess: Definitely getting one on my next trip.

Couldn't help but visit Disneyland and California Adventure again. Here's a few snaps from today's trip...

Little Mermaid ride has become something I do almost every time because the wait is never beyond 20 minutes and it's right smack on the way to my favorite place to eat in the park.

Wandered over to the other dark ride in California Adventure, Monsters Inc, Mike & Sulley to the Rescue..

This is only a test....
