Test Track will be closed when I'm there too, but I'm more annoyed becausre it means the Soarin' line will be even longer!

I saw that too..so bummed...ive never actually gotten to go on test track..last time I was there back in 96 it was scheduled to open a month or so after we left..now I am going back in two weeks and its down.

I could pass up Kali and not be sad. But that's true about most rapid rides, including the one in DCA. The only one I really find consistently fun is Popeye.

Kali isn't great. I loved Popeye the last time I went to IOA. To say I got soaked would be an understatement. Thankfully May in Florida doesn't leave you that way long.:lol

Yeah, the one nice thing about Popeye is there is NO doubt you will be soaked. With Kali, Grizzly, and others, I spend most of my time avoiding getting wet if I can. But when I go on Popeye, you're forfeiting any dryness. The downside to getting wet is how grimy all those rides' water is. Yeah you dry off, but I always feel creepy afterwards.

Which is why it is amazing to stay at a USF hotel (if you're going to to USF and WDW anyway, I think staying 1-2 nights at USF is worth it for Express alone). Change into bathing suit and a t shirt and sandals, use the Express pass to go on Popeye and Dudley a dozen times, then go change if you want.

Blech. Test Track will be closed when I'm going to be there, and closed until Fall.

I wonder if Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will still be closed when you go, that is one of my favorites and i heard is closed right now..

Test Track will be down for my trip, too, but I'm making a sign to leave out front referring people to Ellen's Energy Adventure.

Have a nice nap! :wave
Ellen's Energy Adventure. that's possibly one of the worst rides ever made, like ever... i really hated going there.
WDW has a lot of boring weird rides, rides i did once and regretted doing even once lol :lol, the movies ride at hollywood is not that great, the presidents ride, well...

Test Track being closed brings me back to my ultimate saying: Walt Disney World needs more rides.
:rotfl :rotfl :rotfl maybe

Hollywood studios has a lot of stuff, but most of it are shows, which is fine, but, theres not a lot to do there.

I honestly think the best ones are magic and animal kingdom. magic has all the rides and is cool. animal has the lion king show which is amazing, and the animal parade which is amazing. dinosaur is WAY, WAY better than the Jurassic park ride. :wink1:

Hehe well I generally like all Rapids rides but Kali, while beautiful... is such a disappointment because NOTHING happens. There's only like one drop right?

Grizzly River Run at California Adventure is as far as I know, the steepest pinwheel rapids drop ever made... so it has that going for it at least.

I just read the line for Rapunzel is usually 2-3 hours at WDW. Guess who my girls are desperate to meet?

Haha. You know what you should do is check the schedule and find out what times they're meeting. If you find that they are regularly getting 2-3 hour waits, I'd suggest waiting for them an HOUR before they come out. That way you're just waiting a small hour and the line would be nonexistent to minimal. Perhaps plan it so that you're eating a snack or quick meal while you wait.

Ill say one thing, Captain EO is amazing, ;robably one of the moost amazing shows, really awesome

yeah I will say disney has some really amazing shows, Ill admit that,

is Tough to be a bug is really really funny and cool, I loved doing that show, same with Mickey's PhilharMagic, really good shows,

but Captain EO is my favorite, I love it a lot,

the only show I hate is the Finding Nemo show, is nice but it bored me to tears lol

I just genuinely can not comprehend that. For me, Nemo blows away every other stage show in any of the Disney parks.

really? better than the Lion King show? no way, Lion king show is considered the best show in all the parks, the lion King show at Animal Kingdom is amazing, like, really amazing,

Nemo is nice but, I felt bored, some things were really really neat, but it was too long for me, I don't know lol. I guess It is really nice for a Stage show, I just felt like I wanted to go do something else lol :monkey1

Finding Nemo The Musical has great production values.... but the songs are horrid.

I don't care what's considered the best by other people, hence saying "for me".

I guess if you can't handle a stage show, the length could seem worse, but seeing as Nemo is only about two minutes longer than Lion King, runtime isn't an issue.

As for the music, there are couple weaker songs, but overall I think they are well written and performed.

Hello Fellow Disney Lovers! I am planning on taking my family there next summer, and wanted to ask some advise from those of you who go often and stay in the resort. I have a 7yr old boy and a 3 yr old girl, my wife and her mom and dad will be joining so we will have a group of 6. Regrettably I havent been in a good 13yrs, since My son was first born ive been dreaming and saving up for this trip, so Money isnt an issue. Where would you recommend staying? Best ticket Packages? Amount of time to stay? We were planning to stay a good solid 7 days. Any Advise you guys/gals have would be much appreciated!

Hey congrats on your big trip! :)

If you want the nicest resort, my favorite is the Polynesian but it's quite pricey (though there are sometimes good promotion). My other favorite Deluxe is the Wilderness Lodge, which is also closer to a Moderate price. If you are looking for something more fun for the kids I would recommend Caribbean Beach. They have a cool pirate pool and you can get pirate themed rooms.

I'm no expert on ticket packages because my wife takes care of all that; she is a Disney travel agent. I hate to shamelessly plug (but I will! :)) but if you are looking for an agent I'd be happy to give you her email (no pressure :peace but she is obsessed with WDW and knows just about everything AND there's no fee).

Seven days is a great amount of time. We try to do a trip that size every couple of years (we are fanatics). BUT - it can also be exhausting. Tons of walking. The great thing about a long trip is you don't feel guilty taking a "day off" and just enjoying your resort instead of hitting the parks.
