Jurassic Park area at Islands of Adventure, like Coke Babies mentioned isn't very suited with the geek out experience most of us want/expect from a themed Jurassic Park area.

Unfortunately, Dinoland USA at Disney's Animal Kingdom doesn't fullfill this desire either. They have a cool Dinosaur ride but it's basically a carnival elsewhere.

I'd say, the MUST SEE attractions depends on how much of a thrill-seeker you are. Right now my favorite rides at Walt Disney World are, in no particular order:

-Mission Space @ Epcot (go extreme... don't go to the wimpy version)
-Tower of Terror @ Hollywood Studios
-Star Tours @ Hollywood Studios
-Toy Story Mania! @ Hollywood Studios
-Rockin' Rollercoaster @ Hollywood Studios
-Dinosaur @ Animal Kingdom
-Expedition Everest @ Animal Kingdom
-Kilimanjaro Safaris @ Animal Kingdom

For Universal, the two must see things are of course Harry Potter and the Spider-Man ride. These are probably the two best rides in all of Florida right now. Most advanced.

Universal must sees:
-Men in Black ride @ Universal
-Mummy coaster @ Universal
-Simpsons Ride @ Universal
-Jurassic Park River Adventure @ Islands of Adventure
-Spider-Man Ride @ Islands of Adventure
-Hulk coaster @ Islands of Adventure
-Harry Potter @ Islands of Adventure
-The double coaster.. i forget its name @ Islands of Adventure (something Dragons)
-Cat in the Hat ride @ Islands of Adventure
-all the water rides

You Forgot SPACE MOUNTAIN! :monkey4 :lol
For Disney I say a Must see is Haunted Mansion too, IF the line is short, which, it usually is, if the line is less than 20 minutes is a must see, any longer than that, it isnt

for universal You Forgot RIP Ride Rock IT!
lol
no but seriously Rip Ride Rock it is really awesome, is one of my favorite roller coasters

Don't forget Test Track @ Epcot

"you forgot space mountain" - I didn't. It's not my favorite version of the ride. Probably my least favorite version of the ride.

"Don't forget Test Track" - It'll be closed and it's also a huge yawn of a ride, personally. If it's got a short wait, I'll do it but it was a let down. (I live in CA where driving 60-80 mph is a normal thing... as long as it's not rush hour).

I just got home from one of Disneyland's private Annual Pass parties to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Fantasmic!. It went from 10pm-1am and only Adventureland, Frontierland, and New Orleans Square was open along with a special showing of Fantasmic at 11:30pm.

It was all completely free only to Annual Passholders so it was a really cool gesture. But instead of watching Fantasmic! with everyone else, my friend and I literally rode Big Thunder Mtn seven times in a row without stepping off. We were ready to do more but if someone is in line, we have to step off.

I'll have some pictures this week sometime.

p.s. Something awesome at the finale of Fantasmic which I did see was Roger Rabbit appearance. That really made me so happy.

Okay picture time!

Sunday was the 20th anniversary of Fantasmic! at Disneyland. The show that changed how theme park shows could be done using live performers, water screens, boats and ships, pyrotechnics, and a fire breathing dragon.

To celebrate, Disneyland gave Annual Passholders a chance to sign up for one of four special parties after normal park operating hours (10pm-1am) to enjoy a special 11:30pm showing of Fantasmic just for them, and also enjoy some rides and foods from Adventureland, Frontierland, and New Orleans Square.

Is this room actually stretching??

The corridor to our Doom Buggies. In Disneyland, we go underground to walk underneath the Railroad tracks. In Walt Disney World, the room stretches upwards and you stay on the same level. This room is a part of the ride in Florida.

After that, I spent most of my night on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the wildest ride in the wilderness. Since everyone was waiting for Fantasmic!, I was able to ride seven times straight without getting up!

You'd think I was able to get better shots on the ride having so much practice but my battery was dying.

Closing shot, the new Disney California Adventure is opening in a month!

Amazing shots as always CB! That last shot was my favorite. :thud::thud::thud:

Less than 11 months left to wait before I'm back at the Happiest Place on Earth! :clap  :clap

Thanks! And yay!!!

But if the only theme parks in the United States that he was visiting were WDW and USF, like he mentioned, would you think it is a must see?

Yes, then I'd say ALL of the coasters are a must see. :)

17 days to go for me.

Any suggestions on not getting screwed flying Delta? I've heard the have lots of gotcha fees, especially with bags.

I don't think I've ever flew Delta... even by accident!

And... I wanna go! I have dibs on the name R69-S3X!

I'm leaving on 6/5, so whatever the math is on that (I think 18?) is it for me. :yess:

The week before going might be more fun than the actual trip, due to the insane levels of endorphins my body releases in anticipation.

As for Delta, I'm not sure where you're coming from, but within the US, bag fees are $25 for the first, $35 for the second. I don't recall anything else too sneaky. But I'm almost positive you don't get anything besides a bag of pretzels, and they will sell food on the plane, so just bring food with you.
