I don't know how depressing this makes my life and aspirations sound, but eating at Club 33 is one of my highest goals in life.

I'm not even blown away by the menu, the atmosphere, or anything. But the combination of the Disney history and the "I want the one I can't have" mentality makes it very alluring.

Especially when I'm waiting around outside Blue Bayou for my reservation, just looking at the doorway into it.

I've read a bunch of reviews for Club 33, and to me the place looks amazing. But, overall the most important part about eating there would to be able to say that I have, everything else would be icing on the cake.

I've eaten there (twice). The food's just ok but the atmosphere is electrifying (more so if you're a Disney Geek)! As you said, the history of the place (and the antiques that Walt and his Wife collected) makes for a very special meal. The cocktails don't hurt either. It's fun to drink at Disneyland! All-in-all a very special treat that I'll never forget.

Taking an impromptu trip on Sat. Booked the hotel 1hr ago and will be getting the prem annual pass Taking our 3 month old baby there for the first time and will be visiting our brick...can't wait!

I wish I bought a brick at Disneyland when they were offering them. I have to go all the way to WDW to visit ours.

I've been fortunate enough to go to Club 33 four or five times now... and it's always a pleasure and joy to be there. Food is a bit on the hit or miss side depending the chef but regardless, it's just a great experience.

I suppose though having been there my fair share of times, and before DCA came along, it was just about having booze at Disneyland. Now with all the bars, my desire to go has diminished.

I still need to go to 1901 Lounge though!

I remember those bricks from when I last yet a few years ago. This past summer when we went, one if the first bricks that I looked at was from where I live.

My wife and I bought three bricks... one to commemorate our wedding at WDW in '95 and one for the birth of our two children. :wink1:

Going to Club 33 seems SO out of reach, it would seem futile to list it on my bucket list. :monkey2

I seem to remember they were about $90 each. They offered them for sale from the mid 90's until the early 2000's... about 6 to 8 years, I believe.

Last time I visited the brick commemorating my wedding there is was SO loose that I could actually lift it up from it's resting place. :horror

This year's Star Wars Weekends logo was revealed. I'll be there the second weekend. Can't wait!

Any announced plans yet with what Disneyland is going to do with the Captain EO theater?

As of right now... it's still Captain EO.

I think if Disney will announce anything they'll do so before the summer. Soo... .right before Memorial Day possibly.

Obviously. Star Wars Weekends is celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Return of the Jedi. They did the same thing for Empire's 30th with Mickey as Luke fighting Boba Fett.

I like the graphic, very colorful... would good on a t-shirt. :wink1:

Congrats on going... I wish I could attend one again sometime. The last one (and only) were two weekends in 2005 when Revenge of the Sith first opened. Saw the film in Downtown Disney. Good times.

Right now occupying Muppet Vision 3D at California Adventure is a temporary OZ "4D" preview. They show you the scene of James Franco going up the balloon and into the tornado. They use wind effects, strobes, and water to accent everything. This preview ends at the end of the month.

Over at Disneyland, the Fantasy Faire is finished. This is located to the left of the castle and I didn't take a lot of photos but I'll do that next time. There's a neat little Figaro animatronic though...

Most of the time he's caught sleeping...

But he'll periodically wake up.

That's it for now!

Once again... really great shots. You should get a job with Disney photographing their properties.

Well I'm finally leaving from my Disneyland vacation on Wednesday! :yess:

I would like to thank everybody for posting their food suggestions... it was very helpful.

I will post pictures when I come back... although they might pale in comparison to some of the AMAZING photos that are posted regularly on this thread. :wink1:

Need some input from anyone who would know...

My wife suddenly decided yesterday that she'd like to look into a quick trip to WDW with the kids in early May. We'd be taking Grandma with us so we were looking at the family suite at Art of Animation. Last time we did the villa at Fort Wilderness and it worked out well. I'm just looking for some input on to AoA resort and what people think of it.

Thanks!
