I wonder if this is the same statue that Sideshow has just put up for pre-order for $8500? Looks a bit similiar.
I shot Disneyland an inquiry and they replied that this week it will open between 11-11:30am and close around 6-6:30pm. Not sure about weekends but I imagine it's pretty similar.
We live in San Diego, and go to DL pretty often. Went yesterday and found out that now they are actually enforcing the times on the Fastpasses. It's always been that if you got a Fastpass that said 1pm - 2pm, you could use it any time after 1pm. But we tried to ride Star Tours at about 4pm using 2:05-3:05 FP and they said we couldn't use them. Said that they just started actually enforcing the times. Such a bummer.
The Robin Hood gang!

Yeah, I noticed that too on my recent trip to Disneyland. However, I had a few choice "sob" stories at the ready that explained our tardiness and was allowed to pass. But I don't think that will always work.
End of an era.
I for one am happy that they're starting to enforce the times. What's been the norm at Disneyland is that you have guests (me included) that knew how to abuse the system and took advantage of it.
From that I mean, you can easily spend the day accumulating a number of fastpasses and cashing out at the end of the day.
The problem with this is that if you have a shocking number of people who do that, it skews the standby line in a very insane and negative way.
Let's say that I go into the standby line for Space Mountain when I see the wait is 60 minutes. And let's just say that 30 minutes in, everyone who has a fastpass with a missed window enters the line at once. The standby line that was once 60 minutes is no longer 60 minutes but 90 minutes.
The standby line has always accounted for X amount of fast pass ticket holders. Having people come in at random times makes that time unpredictable and you'll end up with very unhappy guests.
Overall, this will be better for the lines. I'm happy about this decision.
Does anyone here know if either location is trotting out Doc McStuffins or Sophia at all? My kids are big into both and I heard before that they thought both might be out come spring but I can't find anything exact anywhere.
In other news, Universal officially announced that everything has been approved for their massive expansion. Wizarding World of Harry Potter breaks ground late summer.
Any word as to when the expansion will be open? I'm trying to get my wife to commit to a trip to WDW for our 20th wedding anniversary in late 2015. And the expansion of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter would do MUCH to help furthering those plans.

Hey, Aero! Haven't seen you here in a while!
