I got the set of those Disney walkaround figures. Just phone pics here, nothing too exciting, but just to show them in hand.

And apparently the backdrops are reversible. So whether you buy WDW or DLR's version, the only difference is which one faces the outside of the package. It kind of lowers the souvenir of a specific park aspect, but I like the versatility.

I love this collection. I want Chip and Dale, and a few more.

Hi all ,

Staying at Disneyland Hotel and no sign of these new figures in their gift shops. I asked a cast member about them and she told they were available at Pin Traders and D Street but neither of those locations carried them.

So have they sold out already? Are these gone for good?

Any help is appreciated!

I've only been to Disney World once back in 2004 when I was 10. That was one of the best times of my life, I want to go back so bad!!!

OK so update to my own post - just got back from Park. Found Mickey and Minnie figures at Starcade towards back across from Tron Pinball. Cast member at that location says that's last of their stock but directed me to Toon Town where I found the rest of the gang! Lots of people in park today but worth it. These figures are great souvenirs and I'm glad to finish the set!

You could have gotten the entire set at the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney.

And how are these figures? Really. No articulation right? Just kind of... mini statues? Can I see them next to other toys for a size comparison?

And anyone going to Star Wars Weekends in Orlando? You can make yourself a stormtrooper:

Nope, no articulation. They look like the baby of a statue and an action figure.

Not Mickey's final display spot in either case, but for size comparison:

He was made by How2Work. He was a bit overpriced at retail ($250 or something?), but I love the walkaround design, and there really isn't much in that category.

It's been sold out for a while, and now goes in the ~$400 range, I think.

Loving all the pics guys! Getting me stoked for my trip to Disneyland the next few days.

Coheteboy, lil Mickey at Disney pics are hilarious!

Great shots, Anthos! Got any more?

Sadly, that's pretty much it. This was my first trip with my daughter since my divorce and I didn't want to spend the whole thing behind the camera. We're planning a Disneyland trip next December so lots more pics then. Thanks for looking though :)

Understood! Lookin' forward to more fun in December! I guess I'll fill in the months in between hehe

Welp, guys! It finally happened. I went to the 1901 Lounge! It's on the bottom floor of the Carthay Circle Restaurant & Lounge but is basically DCA's version of Club 33. It's almost more exclusive because the member needs to be present to get his party in.

I call it right place right time sort of thing and got whisked right in.

The entrance, which I didn't know where it was, is so obvious but not.. that it's very easy to miss. This is a small reminder of where it is.

Now, this isn't Club 33. There's no exclusive meals here. The menu is exactly the same as the neighboring Carthay Circle Lounge, but just... a little more exclusive.

There's room for four at the bar and you can sit in Walt, Lillian, Roy, Edna. I prefer this one:

To the right of the bar is a wall of caricatures of the Nine Old Men

To the left, more seating and the restrooms. There's also phone chargers throughout the lounge so you can have a cocktail and charge your iPhone.

Old Walt photographs can be found throughout..

The original dwarfs are on display from the TIME magazine cover
