I just thought that my ultra serious face would be humorous juxaposted with rest people in the car losing there minds.

There have been other times where I pretend to be asleep.

Honestly... I really don't know why I do it. But I can't stop.

It's great when you know where the camera is.

Speaking of which, I STILL haven't found where the camera is in Buzz's Astro Blasters.

The wife and I went to a Disney company event at Typhoon Lagoon on Sunday. They always have a little section where they give out prizes like watches, cool merch from the Hawaiian resort and pens. Well out of nowhere a girl wins a prize and they say "it's something you can't buy but something you can only dream for" and they give her a stay at the castle suite in Magic Kingdom. Suffice to say the crowd went nuts. Craziest thing I've ever seen at a company get together.

Oh wow... yah, THAT is the ultimate goal right now for me at any disney resort. To get the dream suite. What's crazy is that I went up there all the time when it was the Disney Gallery. I loved it up there. So technically I've been there... but I'd like to sleep the night... and maybe something else if you know what I mean.


As for next plans, I'll be heading to the park Thursday night to check out a preview of the Mickey and the Magical Map show, so I'll have pictures of that next week. And then friday I'll do the 24 hour Monstrous Summer thing.

I made dinner reservations at the Carthay so I can finally do that for the first time!

I'm pretty excited for the new Mickey show, that theatre has been wasted space for far to long. Can't wait for your pictures as I won't be back at the park till after summer now.

I really miss the Disney Gallery being above Pirates. That was one of my favorite "quiet" places to go. I would spend a good amount of time up there each visit, it was so peaceful. That being said, there's quite a bit of "magic" that would happen in that suite if I ever got the chance to stay there...

Okay, I'm back! I've been at the Disneyland resort 3 days in a row (Thursday night, 24 hours on friday, the bar on Saturday... sunday remains to be seen) now and am I burnt out? NOT YET!


I dunno what it is about me and Disneyland. I never tire of it. SHALL. WE. BEGIN.

Thursday started at Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel. SHIPWRECK on the rocks is my favorite drink there.

okay! Mickey and the Magical Map is the new show in Fantasyland Theatre by it's a small world and Toon Town. It started off as a dance party called Videopolis in the 80s and then transitioned into staged musical productions like **** Tracy, Tail Spin, Beauty and the Beast, Spirit of Pocahontas, Animazement, Snow White the Musical, etc. In the past decade or so it was a glorified Princess Meet & Greet... a huge waste of space so I'm glad it's a stage again.

There's one in every crowd...

A computer generated Yensid (disney spelled backwards) has an apprentice who is not ready to be a wizard yet...

Of course, that's Mickey!

Mickey is trying his darndest to finish painting this map but there's one spot missing.

The spot... avoiding getting painted on, launches the magical map, taking Mickey on adventures to other animated worlds.
