I see it is limited to $750..what is consensus of it selling out? I would like to get some in hand reviews but not sure I want to risk missing out. If it would ship soon I would probably PO because I am more of an instant gratification type person....

I doubt it sells out quickly. If the in hand reviews are good it may move a few more units, but WM isn't a major player in the films so even at 750 pieces he may be around for a while. He's been on PO for over a year and still hasn't sold out.

Thanks..maybe I will hold off. Also considering the 1/4 PI War Machine Figure.....anyone have thoughts on that vs. this?

it makes sense to wait. this isn't selling out any time soon and even if it does, you are assured a conversion on the waitlist if you jump on shortly thereafter.

I think the IS version will beat this...might as well wait to see the price/details on it before making your decision.

I agree...but it will also likely cost a few hundred more, so that has to be taken into consideration.

I plan to buy the IS. I have their recent iron man and magneto. Both are "perfect" in my eyes.

I like the pose on the SS WM variant more than the IS one. but I think I like the IS colors more with the shades of grey vs the SS one which is stark in its use of black and silver.

I'm speculating here, but if this line has been cut back, it is probably at least partly due to the paint and qc issues. A good solution would be going back to their routes and offering these as kits, I bet many people would jump at the chance if the price were right... I would!

Given that this piece is primarily one colour and a dark one at that, rather than the bright primary colours of the previous piece one would hope that their paint issues 'should' be a lot less.

lots of inhand pics on fb. He turned out very well. clean paint, and nice light up effect.

congrats to everyone getting him. despite the high price, SS did a good job on this one.
