You dont have to be big or small, Teenagers are pricks. Yes...even me. Its just a part of growing up.
No it isn't...
Pricks will be pricks regardless of their age...
That's why I go to matinees, and avoid stupid people all together...
mostly...

:lol

"IT'S ****ING DISTRACTING!" :monkey4
:rotfl:rotfl
Funny!

My standard response to some moron using their phone during the movie is to turn to whomever I'm with and say...

"I wonder how that phone will sound ringing up their ass?"

Sometimes one must fight rudeness with rudeness...

A soaking of Mr. Pibb generally gets the message across.
done it and almost got in a fight with someone once. some buttclown came into the movie about an hour into it, stood against the wall, and started having a regular cell phone conversation. my GF shooshed him...he said "F you bi##, don't shoosh me." sooo i kindly tossed my coke on him, his entire 125 lb self got all tough and started cussing and yelling and moving towards me before the manager and the police officer rushed in and told him to get out. apparently, he was going from theater to theater doing this...luckily, nobody said anything about my soda projectile.

Took the girlfriend and some friends to see the movie again Saturday night. Seeing it the second time, I set aside my grievances concerning why it paled to the book, and now fully embrace and love the movie. Had a discussion on the way back with the gang on the nature of heroics and the issues that the story raises, and they all loved it and found it extremely thought-provoking, only my girlfriend and I having read the GN out of the group. Awesome movie, and the best we Watchmen fans could have hoped for. Very, very pleased. :rock

And that is why I hope everyone who's seen this movie just once goes again...it is that kind of movie...one that gets better with each viewing.

I'm up for number three next weekend...

It was a good movie, but I wouldn't compare it to Bladerunner or it's status.

Compared in the sense that when it was out the film was misunderstood and fared poorly at the box office. That's all, nothing else really in common other than that. I still feel as if the movie going public is missing out on how layered this film truly is, and that's a shame. But what can I say when sh_t like Wild Hogs does huge numbers. :dunno

Wait... people under 18 in the USA can go to R rated films? Isn't that the whole purpose of the "R" rating? Restricted to 18 years and over?
You can't here in the AU. I've attempted to when I was younger, and I was told to "^^^^ off".

That's how we roll in the USA! You're strictly prohibited unless you are with an adult or you can pass for 17 or you have ten dollars.:lol

That reminds of me of when my friends and I went to see species when we were 14:

Ticket taker dude: "I assume boys are 18..."
Me: "21 sir."
Ticket taker dude: "Then by all means..." then waves us in to the theater
