Ok Gruesam, I mentioned it somewhat mysteriously, but here it is (and I'll put up on Facebook too, if ya like). Mind you its just a quick photoshop job and it wouldn't be THAT funny if the original photo wasn't an Instant Classic.
I give you: Sam with Dr. Manhattan:
I hate people who can't live without their damn cell phones for TWO FRICK'N HOURS!!
That's why I bought a cell phone jammer. I take it to the theatre all the time now.
No more problems.
My IMAX viewing was impacted by the idiots that brought their crying babies!
Totally unbelievable.
It was a good movie, but I wouldn't compare it to Bladerunner or it's status.
Please tell me that the Comedian is more likeable in the novel? Because the only reason I'm liking him in the movie is due to Jeffrey Dean Morgan who I find charismatic and just plain yummy.
Yeah, I was going to mention that scene in the book. When Laurie brings up that he tried to rape her mother - his reply: "Only once" as if that made it any better. But the look on his face is like a hurt puppy.
I am HOPING they put that scene in the directors cut, i really am. One of my fav from the novel. That would flesh out the hate silk has towards him more and make the reveal at the end seem alittle less overdramatic, as to me there wasnt enough background for someone not familiar with the source material. Plus it would flesh out how messed up he is towards women more, make him more grim, and show how nonchalant the comedian views violence.
The fact that a character named the comedian tries to downplay "only raping a women once" just shows how freaking awsome the source material really is..... i gotta pull out the absolute edition again soon...
