Oh END credits. That song sucks. I got up right as it came on. Once was enough.

And it still was kinda Bob Dylan....it's his song anyway. :lol

I went to see this today at 9:45am and was one of 5 people in the audience.

I really liked this film and it's had my brain pumping all day. I love a movie that makes you think.

I hope this movie makes money because it really deserves the recognition.

At the Arclight they had the Ozymandias, Rorschach and Comedian costumes plus a bunch of props. And it was on like 5 screens. I bought tickets in advance but didn't really need to - the theater was empty. However someone is going - it did really well at the midnight shows and Friday. But perhaps all the true diehards saw it the first day and it will collapse afterwards.

Those had to be the shortest credits for a big budget movie I have ever seen, since they didn't do the usual scrolling credits.

Saw it today, it was enjoyable... but even funnier was watching people show up with young, I mean young kids and then get up after the 4th or 5th shot of blue ^^^^^ :lol

Overall I liked the movie, a lot of the changes were fine in allowing the movie to move a long, but kind of felt like it all just fell apart at the end. Dr Manhattan being blamed instead of aliens is okay, I guess, but instead of the stark carnage of all the bodies you just get a decimated city... not as powerful.

Also, having Night Owl see Rorschach die and then his tantrum of hitting Ozy was kind of weak, more like the wanted dramatic effect then to just let things play out as they did in the series. But aside from some of these kind of things I still thought they did a solid job.

Any word on if any of the props will be sold or auctioned off? There was so much in each scene, I'd love to own a piece of it if possible.

I liked Dan seeing Ror die. It had more of an impact.

I thought it was unnecessary... but, not a huge deal. From the original I preferred the private discussion between Jon and Ozy, especially how he asks him if it was the right thing to do.

to tell you the truth I didn't know it was malin akerman till I watched the film.. I've seen her other movie 27 dresses, harold and kumar and I absolutely hated her.. but after this movie I think I'm in love... she looks so much better as a brunette.

Sounds like an awesome experience at the theater. I'm envious. The most exciting and outlandish thing that I saw at my theater was the man decked out in all regular clothes and an additional superfluous cape for no particular reason; other than that it looked as if someone just grabbed a Hot Topic store and shook it over the theater until all of its patrons spilled out into movie seats.

I do hope the movie doesn't collapse. I know so many people who aren't even comic fans and can't wait to see this. I certainly plan on seeing it again so that I'm not critiquing it and can appreciate it for what it is.

And I agree about Malin Ackerman. While her performance certainly wasn't JDM or JEH, it didn't have to be. Laurie was actually more likable in the movie whereas in the GN she comes off as little more than a disparaging, self-centered, sex-crazed ^^^^^. Thankfully they kept the sex-crazed part (the hottest sex scenes I have ever seen in a movie). Come to think of it, she was quite simply a patently violent nymphomaniac... like father like daughter. :lol

Definetly agree with you there, it suprised me that she was blonde tbh. Thought she looked stunning from that first clip in the trailer for what was her suiting up scene in the finished film.

I thought the reminiscing scene in the restaurant between her and Dan was very nice, especially the punchline about Rorschach dropping that guy down the elevator shaft.

I hated her eye make up. Made her look weird.

She was alright....I didnt like how she delivered some of her lines as...well...I thought she should've.

Such as "I think we should spring Rorschach..."

"What?"

And "Oh ^^^^...i'm on Mars."

But hey, it could've been worse.
