After closer inspection there are some details that must be changed. Her lips need to be repainted to more of a peach color. The shirt does need to be more gray. Perhaps some Rit dye remover might help to lift most of the black dye out if not left for very long and would leave it a more lighter shade. Even the hat looks a bit lighter too.

That's what I've been saying:

I poped mine out of the box today and I have to say that overall I am pretty pleased with the figure myself. The hat turend out beter than expected and sits on the head pretty well once you put the pony tail through the hole in the back and push it snug on the head, then it does not look so damn big riding above the pony tail. Not thrilled with the missing watch either! My big complaint is the difference in the skin tone between the hands/head and the rest of the body.

Anybody hear or read about why there is no watch?

Mini-Review: SARAH CONNOR

I’ve waited years for her. Even planned my own custom. Now she’s here. OVERALL: I’m happy with it.

The GOOD:

The head sculpt ROCKS! Looks amazing. As always, Trevor never lets us down. Doesn’t look bobble-heady to me at all. Paintwise, skin tone is nice, eyes look great, but the lips are a bit bright with some girly lipstick... but that can be fixed easily enough.

Surprisingly, the arms work fine. Yeah, they’re cut-joint but they don’t look like "sticks" relative to her body. I was worried about the arms but I see no reason to change them.

The outfit is GREAT! The VEST is highly detailed – I dread taking it off. The PANTS are nice too. There’s several BELTS and all are great, even the knife sheath.

The accessories are solid: rifle, knife, pistol. The glasses are cool. My only issue with them is that brown paint has been applied to the lenses – seems a bit odd. And they lenses could be a lot shinier.

OK, the BAD:

The BOOTS are pretty cheap looking. And the CAP is nicely constructed but it isn’t Sarah’s SWAT cap. It barely fits on her head, and when it does the brim covers her face/glasses. I’m thinking of sticking a piece of cardboard or plastic in the front to give it that SWAT look; may help. Of course, the missing WATCH is an extra aggravation. Easy to replace, and it will cover one wrist joint at least. Still…

I believe once FUTZED, she’ll really rock. It’s a great figure overall, and I’m very happy with it… even with the customizing that must be done to get her right. Of course, the whole Terminator line has been that way so its no surprise.

I can't wait to get her Monday. I haven't been in as much anticipation as some of my bretheren because I wasn't really aware of the 1/6 figure market until I joined these forums a less than a year ago, so I didn't know of T1 Hot Toys figures, so my first sign of cool Terminator collectibles was the premier of Sideshow's T-800, but since then I have been very eager to build up a Terminator collection. T2 was the first R rated movie I ever saw, and even before then I watched it edited for TV and to this day it's still one of my favorite films, and the quality of the sculpts and figures coming out of this line, and the added funny of bringing more to them (thanks again pjam for steering me to the Harley Fat Boy, a big must), it's not just collecting or a hobby, it's all sorts of fun to be had customizing and photographing and just generally doing a great justice to the collecting community because it's bringing so many of us together in a postive and helpful manner, which is what it's all about.

Final Pescy Sarah Room Breakout Shot (post-futzed)...

I'll prolly have to get her a better fitting Tank T, took in the sides, does fit better but for now, I dig it for what it is.

Next up: Pescy Sarah meets up with the T 800...

awesome work on the hospital escape Sarah, Pjam! too cool!

I finally got my mom's doll out of the box and took a look. I dig it, I think it's a nice piece. I wish the color of the paint matched the prototype, but I can let that go. :)

so here's some shots!

Trevor, you gotta ditch the McFarlane T-850 and get Andy's awesome T-800 and get yourself a Hot Toys Endo. Gotta have one of those bad boys.

The sculpt is too good to hide under the hat or behind the glasses I think.

Although the paint is not bad , I am very curious to see what the customizers are going to do ;-)

This one will be on my shelve for sure ;-)

yeah, my Mom wants everything I've done, so that's cool!

I myself am not much of a collector anymore. I still LOVE the stuff, but I just don't have the desire to own much of it anymore...save for a few choice items. :D I'm more of a window shopper!

that said, I think Andy's Terminators are great! I think Sarah's a nice companion to those babies!

thanks!
Trev

I hope you're at SDCC Trev. And yeah that's way cool your Mom collects the stuff; she'll have quite an impressive collection eventually! Awesome job dude it looks GREAT!

Absolutely! It is indistinquishable between where Andy's ends and yours begins. They compliment each other perfectly. I applaud you. :rock:rock:rock

My pleasure Trev and Congrats once again. These shots of yours really capture Sarah's likeness, well done my friend and the last shot inspires me to get AB's T 800 to "get with her". :lol They look great together!
