We got 14 inches here in Weymouth this past weekend.
I didn't go out and shovel or anything.
I had a bum foot and doctor orders said to stay off it for 48 hours.
So my twin brother and my older brother had to do all the snow removal.:D

Well so much for any small melting progress we had over the last 2 days. We got about 2-3 more inches this morning and its STILL SNOWING. I hate this crap.

Sweet, I live in Lake Forest Park, I never thought I'd say this, but I miss the rain! :duh

I'm in West Seattle and we got rain right now.....it's turning everything to slush and then it will freeze over tonight. :cuss I'd much rather drive in snow than frozen slush......well at least it looks like things should be back to normal come this weekend. :duff :)

the Seattle rain lovers club..:lol

:rock :rock I'm thrilled to be getting rain.....though like I said right now the slush sucks. My boss got her car stuck today in about 6 inches of the stuff......driving is becoming even more difficult...even with 4 wheel drive you can't get any traction....but if the rain keeps coming it will soon wash all this white stuff away. :)

Well all our melting progress yesterday got lost AGAIN. Its snowed overnight and is still going. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

And that is just about the most depressing thing I could imagine. There is nothing weather-wise that I hate more than rain (after living in Portland for fifteen years).

I agree that the snow is prettier....but I really would love to get out of my neighborhood. :lol I've been holed up for about 2 weeks now....haven't gone more than a mile from my apartment. I'm going a little stir crazy. :lol

Here's some pics from my boss' house. She lives a couple blocks from me.

First time I've ever seen ice in her swimming pool. :lol

Today has been a weird day in Boise. It rained more than snowed during the night and early morning, and the sun has been out all afternoon melting quite a bit of what's left :( (I love the sunshine, but hate the fact that it's melting off so much of the snow).

Sorry for all of the folks in Oregon and Washington, but I'm sure you'll be back to your usual dreary rain pattern soon ;). Hang in there.

BTW, as for the unusual amounts of snow in the Pacific Northwest, I heard from a friend a few days ago, who has lived his entire life in Hillsboro (just outside of Portland), and he had never seen that much snow in his neighborhood before (he's in his forties).

Yeah, it hasn't been this bad here since 1996 (a year before I got here.) I just hope it takes at least another 12 years to come back. :D

And for the 3rds day in a row all our melting that happened the previous afternoon is out the door because its snowing again... and has been for the last 2 hours. This crap is never going to end. :(
