It sure did, and my view out of my house (the Red Rock Mts) looks like the Rockies.

:banana

I feel for those who deal with this year after year, but it is a very fun change for us.

Yeah, I can imagine the view. That being the case, you live around the Summerlin area, right?

Cool! My family lives in the Summerlin area as well. They just sent me this pic and I am just amazed...

We got about another 3-4 inches last night and it has started to snow again.......I usually hear a ton of street traffic from my place----but today....it's totally silent. :)

Crazy eh? Apparently this is the most snow here since 1979 --- I just moved to Vegas about a year and a half ago.

My kids are loving it! :banana

Is that because everyone stayed home, or because they've already all crashed into each other ;)?

BTW, Boise is due another 8-10 inches of snow over the next three days. White Christmas, here we come!! :banana

Thats about what we got too and I am staying home today... good thing I was all ready taking tomorrow off.

When I said we got 3-4 inches I was wrong....it's closer to 6. Just went out to run a couple errands and I couldn't believe how much snow there was. I have NEVER seen this much snow in the 12+ years I've lived up here.

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl Most people don't venture out when we get snow.....they canceled school yesterday just because they thought we might get snow...we didn't...perfectly clear day and then we got this big dumpload during the night....what sucks for me is that I only live about 2 blocks from where I work.....so no matter what, I have no excuse for not making it in. :monkey2

You people are all mistaken! The globe is far too hot for snow. The white material on your lawns is the ash created from spontaneously combusting polar bears.

We're supposed to get some obscene amount, like 14 inches, tomorrow. That should be fun! :chew

I remember when it would snow around Thanksgiving time and snow would be on the ground till late Jan or early Feb. Now we're lucky to see a white Christmas. We get more rain during the winter than snow now. Supposed to have freezing rain tomorrow. I'd rather have snow.

just got back from Wisconsin and it was great to see snow again...and lots of it but it's also nice to get home from the airport at 11 p.m. and it's 62 degrees.

You left just in time. It dropped a ton on us in Wisconsin this morning. Not as much as the weather people were predicting, but a ton nonetheless.

Well, you must have gotten some of ours, because the big storm that was supposed to be hitting us right now has not materialized. So far, we've gotten about a quarter of an inch of additional snow, and that's it.
