I just shoveled my driveway but it may not help since I probably can't get up my lane anyway. Called all over for chains for my truck and they are all sold out. I agree with you Jen... the novelty has worn off real fast.

Yes, another person who hates snow!

Snow can go screw itself sideways up its butt until its as warped as Slyvester Stallone's lips!
my face is just starting to thaw out now. when i came in, the moisture in my eyes was frozen. whoever says they love winter can come over and i'll introduce them to my snowbanks. face-first even.

I just got back from walking to the store.....some areas, that have not been shoveled at all, the snow was up to my mid calf. It's a trippy sound with the ice on top of the snow - I forgot that crunchy sound. :lol

Anyway, here's a couple pics from outside my apartment :

WOW -Seattle almost got as much snow as Vancouver.
It's nuts up here. I think the city only owns 1 plow. The roads are death traps. :duh

I don't think Seattle has any at all. :lol I've yet to see one road plowed in the last couple weeks......those that are fairly clear - it's because of the high volume of traffic.

That hill up from my apartment is a sheet of ice....just watched a firetruck slide down.....even had chains on. I'm so glad I don't have to drive anywhere.

Here is outside my house and the nice lane I need to go up to get out. Not good with a rear wheel drive truck.

It does look pretty. :) I love that area you are in because of all the trees. My brother's in Bothell and all the pines remind me of where I grew up. I have views of the Sound and islands which is also nice...but I miss those pine trees.

:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl I don't think I could handle the cold winters of Minnesota.
i live in a small town in southern MN now which isnt too bad. but i used to live up in Duluth. holy crap did we get snow. it would always look like it was snowing cuz the cold wind would blow across Lake Superior and water would mist up into the air and freeze into snow. it was called "lake effect" or something lame like that.

What small town? My mom and dad are from Litchfield and Hutch and my Granny used to live in Silver Lake. I remember driving through Dasel and Darwin going from one grandparents farm to the other.

We aren't getting alot of snow here in Ohio, but our wind chill right now is -24. I'll take the snow anyday to this. We just had an ice storm too and the ice is taking it's toll on the trees. Looks like a tornado came through.
