Great work Ron, I have been contemplating doing this for part VII but you just convinced me.
The physique is perfect for Hodder Jason.

After going back and forth on the body for Jason I think I found something i'm happy about.
It's the dam body uppder torso and HT lower body. The body has been padded a lot to get the proportion right.

All the clothing have been sourced on ebay. I dye and modified them to get them as accurate as possible.

Thanks Seb!! Also, great Part 3 there. I recognize the shirt you used there and I have used that one a couple of times for Jason's I have done. It works perfectly for several of Jason looks!! Nice weathering as well!

Here's my latest Part 7 that I used an old crapy Mezco Jason 7 figure and completely overhauled him using SS parts.

this looks better than the sideshow jason.

Ive actually liked the body and the legs of the Mezco jason a lot more than the Sideshow Jason. plus the sideshow jason has pretty crappy clothes as well

I have to disagree with that one buddy. The SSC one (modded) is a great representation of Jason from New Blood.

Also the SSC Jason clothes are a treat to work with and when dyed to your preferred colour and then shredded they really look badass.

Also a big well done to elvis1976 and xphilx on there Jason's.

I have to agree and disagree to both points. First I agree with crow that out of the box, the SS clothes are not great but like Sid mentioned, the quality is there if you rework it a bit. The clothes on that Mezco Jason I showed is the SS outfit reworked.

Now I disagree with you Sid sadly. The SS body does not work well for this Jason especially. It is too thin and does not have Hodder's physique at all. So although the Mezco body is limited and cheaper overall, the actual shape and posture of the body is fantastic and looks better then I even imagined it would with SS clothes worked in to it. So like I said I agree and disagree a little bit with what each of you said. [emoji4]

Oh I already stated in the past Ron (when you posted your Mezco/SS hybrid) that the Mezco one captured Hodder's physique really well there is no doubting that and the SS one sadly is not even a match in that department as like you say they really got Hodder's physique wrong. I did contemplate a body switch with my SS one and putting him onto a new body but for now I will leave it as is.

But having said all that I would still take the SSC version and then work with that one over the Mezco one but hey that Mezco one you worked on was wonderful Ron and this is not a slant on your version buddy.

The funny thing is that Kane wasn't even all that big in New Blood. Have you seen him in behind the scenes pictures on-set?

Agreed....do the body swap. It makes a world of difference. That other Jason 7 I posted is on a KP02 body using parts of the rubber skin from the SS. It definitely improves the figure overall. But I'm telling you man, even on the bigger body, this Mezco one I did dwarfs the figure in comparison and looks so much more menacing. However I always preach that SS stuff is good with extra TLC so don't misunderstand me. I agree that SS has potential there to be improved and I am not hating on them. LOL...the Mezco figure was a surprise to me I admit. I never thought I would like It as much as I do after the mods. I will post some new pics soon. I updated the other Jason 7 as well and since sold it. However I did a new vid and took some pics before sending it off. So I will post them soon and you can see both Jason's in the same vid for comparison. It really comes down to physique vs. more articulation.

Very nice man!!! I have that sculpt as well and the clothes on the way from Peteskywalker. Can't wait to get working on that one as well but you did an awesome job with yours!!

thats for the kind words guys....

The headsculpt and mask are betos painted by 8-bit

and the clothing is all sourced from ebay. Jacket is 2 different jackets put together. The shirt and pants were just weathered, although im not 100% happy with the shirt so i might change it

DAMN the Mezco one even dwarfed the KP02 version.

I may go down that road in the future Ron but I'm happy with my version for the moment. But yes the SSC bodies are not the best.

Happy belated Friday the 13th guys and gals and it is just a damn shame that my Friday the 13th movie marathon finished last Friday.

EDIT - Just watched your vid Ron on YT and boy is that Mezco/SS bash figure big and bad to the bone or what? Imagine that with all the articulation?

Shame that you sold that pervious bash of Jason from New Blood.
