As soon as Bernard said "what door?", I knew he was a Host, and I knew Theresa Cullen was as good as dead. Actually I suspected she was in jeopardy as soon as she got on the elevator. Guess her replacement should be done in a few days.

Hopkins is absolutely chewing up the screen in this, love it!

This show is so ****ing good.

"I built everything in this place. Everything."

He built it but what's his end game? Does he just want to keep playing God in his sandbox until he himself becomes the ghost in the machine? How would that figure with Arnold who seemed bent on destroying it? Maybe Arnold knew what Ford was ultimately up to and became blood sacrifice. Too many Q's...

Well, Ford clarified their argument tonight.

Ford believes he grants them freedom by controlling them. Freedom from despair, purpose, emotion. Arnold disagreed.

The reveal with Bernard was great. I figured one or some of the workers could be hosts but not him. Ford is definitely obsessed with playing God in this world. This is my new favorite show.

The earliest hint that I happened to catch was Bernard saying that the hosts wouldn't see the house even if they were looking directly at it and then he doesn't see the door into the lab. Did I miss anything earlier than that?

Then why program Bernard with the devastating memory of losing his child? The same goes for Thandi Newton.

I think it's to flesh out their back story and help give them meaning. It was discussed when he chose to give Teddy the Wyatt back story - something which is now proving very useful since he has teamed up with the Man in Black.

After rewatching the episode I realized that the door wasn't there initially. It only shows up after the camera pans to Bernard and then back to Theresa.
Completely missed that! :hi5:

I think we all did. I re-watched episode 6 and after Bernard enters the house and starts getting attacked by the male host, Anthony Hopkins magically appears out of nowhere to stop it. But based on episode 7, he actually came out of the lab door that Bernard can't see. It's subtle. While watching that scene you're so focused on the abrupt attack from the host that you never stop and ask "Wait a minute! Where the hell did Ford come from!?" :lol

Another funny thing I noticed: The white dude Maeve is blackmailing is also the spokesman for Domino's. :lol

Looks like the basement is the same area that Bernard has been questioning Deloris in as well. Notice the stair railing and the power box/light on the wall.
