Well, pretty sure there are some who will still believe in the MIB & William are the same person, lol. Would need the two of 'em to be in the same scene to totally debunk that bogus theory.

Can someone tell me why those two lab guys were doing everything the robot was telling them to do? They could have turned her off anytime and rebooted her memory completely.

:exactly:I don't understand that either, especially since they know she is off program after she threaten to kill one of them! They have complete control over all her key attributes, and can could have just as easily turn them all down instead of up or turn her off completely. Why are they just giving her the upper hand?

They can't reboot her memory. She's apparently immune to it. They've been doing that and it hasn't worked. Which is why she remembers everything. Including ALL the "private" conversations they've had while she was supposed to be offline and all the stuff they've been doing that could get both of them fired i.e. the Asian guy having the bird and doing unauthorized coding on it (property theft/tampering with intellectual property) and the white dude not only knowing about it and not reporting it (most companies have that policy, where you can get fired if you know of another employee doing something dirty and you don't snitch) but also (as Maeve alluded to) him banging her. Which is also a no-no. The nerdy tech-girl blackmailed another tech with the same thing (she had video of him banging a female host).

So your going to make things worse by showing it around and making it super intelligent? Take it offline, call a supervisor, have an accident and destroy the thing then. Who knows what it will do now.

That might be the first thing that happened on the show that seemed to have a jarring lack of credibility/believability.

Maeve have some leverage but she is still a host. Physically, she is holding an xacto knife or small surgical knife, lol. Pretty sure humans are way more dangerous. He should find a way to quickly excuse himself and notify security. But hay for horses, lets play along, shall we?

Yep, the writing is getting suspect now. Two idiots let a self aware robot minipulate them to help her get smarter and feel less pain...like they think there is not going to be a repercussion where all of the robots won't be self aware and kill everyone.

iunno.. it's easy to say "why not do this!?" but people make stupid decisions all the time in situations like this with blackmail. It's like if you're caught cheating why pay someone money or be in debt to them, just tell your spouse. Simple right? But the reality is, it's RARE that someone actually chooses that option.

Bottomline: From their POV, reporting it would've gotten BOTH of them fired.

Most movies and TV shows require their characters to make stupid decisions time and again, this by no means a deal breaker for me. If it becomes a ongoing thing, then I may take issue.

I can forgive the Asian dude since he does seem passionately intrigued by the Hosts and the "life" that they have, so they did a good job of building him up for being fascinated by Maeve and her "life".

The cranky White guy who has been an a-hole most of the time...well...yeah, writing isn't too strong on him "going along with it" since he seems to be a whistleblower.

I just got the impression that angry white dude is just a giant ***** when push comes to shove

I could see one guy falling for her con, but two? Turn her off, scramble her circuits or something.

I had suspected what was revealed tonight, but it was cool to see how it played out. And Anthony Hopkins is just such a great actor, I can watch him in pretty much anything.

He channels Hannibal every now and then. I gotta admit I was suspecting Cullen rather than Bernard. Great episode.
