Don't do it. They will cancel the order but you will not get NRD back from that order
Reorder and cancel Balrog as the Balrog doesnt have NRD.

You do get your weta dollar back as soon as you cancel the preorder but unfortunately there is no button for canceling. You have to email or call the customer service but by the time the support comes back from weekend the 15% will be gone.
If you want to utilize 15% you have to do it without Weta Dollars you used on first preorder. Ofc you'll get them back, but not soon enough.

Current local time in New Zealand
Best case: when every timezone gets past 12/6
I'd stick to worst case considering NZ time is when the offer started and it was supposed to last 24hours

There. Unfortunately NZ is like 20hours aread of US and since that facebook calendar works with the timezone in your Windows OS, you are better off reading the last page of the thread to find out what is on currently. Or you'll find out like 4 hours before the offer already ends. :/

I see that. I will bookmark the thread. Appreciate you posting it. I guess I could change the clock on my ipad to NZ time, which I just tried. It's not like I really use my ipad to check the time, but it would get confusing lol.
Reordered also, ends up saving another ~$40 which is just like them covering shipping. Prompted me to go ahead and order Smaug too.

I learned my lesson. If I would have waited on ordering Smaug, I could have saved $100.
Sideshow has become the same way, no reason to PO until you absolutely have to.

Good. Lesson here OEs hold off till sales. LEs if they have a high ES and you think it will not sell out wait for a possible sale. In the case for Smaug I waited and was even in my mind thinking of all the cheaper Barad-Durs that were sold for as low as 499-599. Rarer pieces like Azog and I think Beorns House that have a great chance of selling out should be bought immediately. Of course if the buyer is a "I gotta have it now or be the first" then the above rules don't apply.

This guy looks awesome. The balrog is one of my favourite designed creatures from fantasy movies. To me, he definately has an ancient presence.
Price and space are the main reasons why i will have to resist getting one though.

Got my first order canceled. But lost my place in line for the first shipment. Was told there had to be some repercussion for getting the discount and I'm good with that.
