Re: WGP's Classic Battlestar Galactica thread (TAKING CHARACTER INTEREST LISTS)
Just thought I would see if there are any updates on these.
Stuff has been going on behind the scenes. Indy, Star Trek, and the Supernatural heads are or have been sent out for molding/casting from our giant batch.
The Galactica heads that were recently printed have been cleaned and are now being sent off to one of our casters, SSF's own Dorgmal Snow, for final size verification for us (he has all the bodies). We'll hopefully know in a week how the sizes are.
As most people should know both SB and Apollo were meant to be Dragon size, as was our range. Apollo looks a little small for that, and if he was HT size that wouldn't exactly suck, but he may be smaller than even that. We will see.) Then we need to make sure SB is actually Dragon size.
On that front, if they were both different sizes, reprints would be inevitable. After a thoughtful, well-put PM from a board member, he has conviced us that going forward WGPs Galactica project size range should be HT scale only and that is what future heads and costumes will be made at.
The HT SB head will be tweaked to give him back the longer hair that was lost when the (amazing) artist made tweaks but wasn't something we actually asked for.
So if this current Benedict head is Dragon (and many people wanted Benedict just to use as Faceman from A-Team and not Galactica), that version has shorter hair and will work for him.
On the costume front the material has been bought and the seamstress is back from a haitus and has been experimenting with ways to make the metallic gold and black ornamantal trimming for the uniforms and Sean will start sculpting the accessories soon.
We have also been researching for places to buy the black pistol web belt material from with the triple rows of metal eyelets already in them. All we have found so far sites are bulk plain black web belt material with no eyelets in them at all, so if anyone knows any places that have them, please point us in the right direction.
Lastly, Sean recently found out he knows someone that is good with electronics and is a nerd (laugh). This is good for Lucifer, possible lighted Viper pilot helmets, and a potential WGP Cylon with moving eye and eye sound FX down the line.
