Re: WGP's CLASSIC DOCTOR WHO- ARE YOU READY TO FIGHT THE YETI???

I would be very interested in a five inch trout and a complete smiling trout....what sort of price range?

5"

When we offer 5" heads of existing 1:6 heads we already have made, just smaller (ex: smiling Trout as 5") those will be $10. That is me making smiling Trout for myself and just selling extras to people who might want them because we don't really expect us to make any money off of that (though I am willing to be surprised!). Most of us have way too many extra bodies of the Doctors we can use these on as cool variants. :) Right now I am just taking interested lists so when I make him smaller I know how many extra I should make.

Harry Sullivan was commissioned to be 1:6 and 5", so when he is done in early 2014 he will come out 5" as well. Our upcoming early Tom (before Christmas) will definitely be offered 5" as well.

For us to offer other 5" heads of characters we've already made, we just need to hear what you guys care about being made smaller (The Brigadier, Romana, Sarah Jane, etc) to see if enough people are interested to reprint smaller as that costs about $45. I personally think our Brig head looks better than the CO's, but I was only planning on reducing Smiling trout for myself.

Right now for people that have written me willing to do group commissions for new Doctor Who heads (both 1:6 and 5" scales combined), I have a lot of interest for Trout era things, Mccoy, and McGann so far. Again, write me to get involved if interested!

1:6 Trout

We are probably a month away for posting a whole bunch of gallery pics of the complete Smiling Trout deluxe figure with accessories and specific details. All the accessories we offer might not come with the set to keep the price down on it.

However, he's already available in parts and has been and is cheaper that way. The deluxe version is more for new 1:6 fans who buy Big Chief who don't customize and don't know anything about how to do it.

Oddly enough, most painters we show this to for quotes to paint absolutely despise the idea of having to paint multiple striped and starred recorders (laugh). Methinks we will have to offer the plain pine colored version for the deluxe set because of that.

To order parts right now- (all prices minus shipping costs)

Smiling Trout- 1:6 heads are $60, unpainted.

TROUGHTON COSTUME SET: Shirt with over-sized 60'd collar, Jacket, tight fitted pants, bow-tie, hanky, functional pockets - $135

Yeti Coat: lined with functional pockets- $50

Accessory set: $75 unpainted
Open 500 year diary, closed500 year diary, yeti controller figurine, recorder, sonic screwdriver, special sonic screwdriver holding hand, yeti sphere, Cybermat

When we offer the completed deluxe version, painted, it will be on a HT slim body. The downside to offering him painted and 100% completely made is that we don't have third world children working in sweat shops to paint ours even though I keep asking for them for Christmas and getting the accessories painted will really jack the price up, so we may not offer them with the actual deluxe set, but as an optional extra.

I'd be interested in both Harry and Sarah in the 5". My poor 4th Doctor regeneration figure could use some company. :D Oh, might as well throw the Brig in there, too. I should have him in at least one scale.

Considering all the CO customizers that are out there on various forums, not to mention deviantart, I'd think some of them would be interested in this.

Re: WGP's CLASSIC DOCTOR WHO- ARE YOU READY TO FIGHT THE YETI???

I would be interested in any 5 inch heads since IMO the WGP heads after the v1 versions of the Troughton era are good.

Re: WGP's CLASSIC DOCTOR WHO- ARE YOU READY TO FIGHT THE YETI???

Thanks everyone. I am keeping a list on this side and the Yeti commission has been started!

"I should like a hat with that!"

I cut half of a Smiling Troughton forehead off with a demel to try and make his a Power of the Daleks stove-pipe felt hat and had some fun with some other hats I had sitting around over here. Trout has black marker lines on him from when I turned him upside down and traced his heads circumference for his hat.

Re: WGP's CLASSIC DOCTOR WHO- ARE YOU READY TO FIGHT THE YETI???

I realized that you have a list of CLASSIC DOCTOR WHO INTEREST LISTS and didn't have me on a few of them. I want to be on early Tom, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th.

Re: WGP's CLASSIC DOCTOR WHO- ARE YOU READY TO FIGHT THE YETI???

Any plans for Romana III ? You could get a lot of Buffy fans too.

Gotcha Down

Please put me down as interested in the Revenge Cybermen. :)

We don't even get enough united interest from people to get 16 people together for a Doctor head or an existing companions from the actual show. The chance of us being able to get interest for an audio companion is zero.

Besides the characters and plans already in motion mentioned over the last few pages, personal commissions and group commissions to get characters made is pretty much going to be the only way at the moment to get new Who characters unless our upcoming releases kick-starts interest in the other interest lists.

Romana III??? What about Romana I? Without her the other two wouldn't exist!:pfft:

Hells yes!

Re: WGP's CLASSIC DOCTOR WHO- ARE YOU READY TO FIGHT THE YETI???

Any plans on New Who HS? I would love a 9th and 10th doctors.

I see you already found it after you asked this, but for everyone else who isn't aware, we have a separate Nu-Who thread here

Remember, to make a characters head we just need 16 people interested! :hi5:

Re: WGP's CLASSIC DOCTOR WHO

The early Fourth Doctor head was assigned yesterday. The expression will be inquisitive/serious based in this picture with his mouth closed. If anyone can help with pics of the same expression from a front view it would be very helpful.

He will be hatless. Once he is cast it can be modded to be hatted if there is enough interest.

Then I got a pic of our Trout recorder painted by Skiman. He hated painting this but did an amazing job! :)

Re: WGP's CLASSIC DOCTOR WHO

Surprised people aren't asking for 8 after his recent appearance in Night of the Doctor. There's already a petition for more episodes with him.

Re: WGP's CLASSIC DOCTOR WHO

Just wanted to update I got the first sneak peak at our S14/s15 Tom sculpt today: "Inquisitive" and he's looking really nice! I hope to show him off in a week or so!

Re: WGP's CLASSIC DOCTOR WHO

Any chance of a series 12 outfit and a sonic screwdriver to go with "Inquisitive"?

The BCS figure turned out to be poor quality considering the price so starting from scratch seems a better option.

Well, to start off we are offering a new younger Tom head I've seen three revisions on so far so that will be unveiled soon. We do have a sweet Sonic already printed but it may be too fragile right now because it is too accurate for 1:6 (laugh) and LaSirenofEire will be offering some amazing replacement scarves (announcement forthcoming).

We could do a Fourth Doctor costume, like S12 or 14. That takes a helluva lot of work on my end to fabric print things like the vest so we would need other people interested to get a run by someone like Amy Jones.

On the other hand, something I was talking about in the Nu-Who thread, I have been talking to some of the higher end tailors on the board who would be willing to take on any tailoring job for 50 people interested. That's a lot of people to get interested but the quality would be amazing.

Sarah's accessories are printing this week. Here is her final correctly sized printed head.

50 people = Ouch!

I take it from that number that I probably don't want to know the price if I wanted to commission a high end costume for myself :lol

Who did the Sarah Jane costume?
