Are there any physical (i.e. things you can hold in your hand) versions of these sculpts yet? It will be the critical test to see how they make the jump from the computer into the real world.

Not yet as they are still being worked on. The physical print out looks exactly like you see however. Here are some other examples of heads we've made printed out:

Here is revision 2 of the WTH Indy with Chu figuring out and adjusting the expression more:

I'm sorry, I may be out of line, but this version looks more "constipated" than WTH.

Out of the three so far, I like the Traditional Indy

If you look at the WTH photo in the first post, his upper lip seems tighter over his upper teeth. In this version, it almost seems as though the right side of his face is numb/paralized - kind of the muscles underneath are unmovable, which doesn't mesh with the left side expression.

Please don't get me wrong, I think your artist is doing a great job. I hope these come off as constructive criticism.

Those look amazing. I have officially ditched my pursuit of a HT Indy head, though I will wait to see how these Indy's look printed.

I'm coming into this thread for the first time and looking at these fresh (after the endless iterations/repaints of HT Indy over in that thread) and these all look excellent. Such a relief after the 7-8/10 HT delivered, these are a 9-9.5. I see the constipation thing only if it's pointed out, but this head as-is with even only a decent paint job won't read that way and will look great.

I'm cautiously optimistic that these are THE heads that Indy customizers have been waiting forever for, and coming so soon after the HT letdown is a nice consolation prize.

3 sculpts i want forever now and i cannot find a great one and i think you are the only one you can make it

any chanse for any of these sculpt to happen?

While WGP definitely has it's own personal sci-fi agenda we are open to making anything and everything when our schedules are lighter as long as enough fan interest is there (16 interested people per character) or are specifically commissioned by someone here on the boards to make them.

Of your list, the only one I see us wanting to do ourselves eventually is Blondie (because I always wanted to use a Blondie Eastwood for a Jonah Hex custom so that way a Blondie head would service two fan groups).

I've been following the Matty Ghostbusters thread and the one head that people are screaming for is Peter Venkman/Bill Murray... there are three heads available currently (including the dud Matty one) and none are even close to most eyes.

Because Murray's look doesn't change movie to movie, a spot-on Bill Murray would be a usable for customs based on any movie/show he was in.

I think a good Venkman, Stanz and Egon would be welcome, though not sure how many custom 1/6 Ghostbusters got completed in the Mattel wave.

All 4 were completed, but the sculpts are more caricatures than realistic representations.

On the traditional, it looks to me like the eyes are just a little too close together. Other than that, it's an amazing likeness.

Agreed. A little bit of a squint and a tad further apart. Then it will be practically unrivaled.

BTW, has anyone considered this expression for a future likeness?

EDIT: You know, upon looking closely at this picture, I think the eyes are about the right distance apart. I think it's just the lack of color that appears to throw it off. It's pretty hard to tell, really.
